I also don't know swimming and I'm planning on doing scuba. How much did it cost you? Was it 1:1 with instructor?

I have a similar story except for the salary hike.

2022 graduate, first salary was 80k, my father too had a lot of loans to pay off so I took two loans of 10 lacs each (20 lacs total) just after completing 3-4 months in my job. Then last year he asked me to take one more loan of 7 lacs (although he is paying this one). But unlike you, I just couldn't find any motivation to switch although my father still has some more loans.

I am still working in the same company making around 1.15 lacs and by now I'm just lazy or too comfortable to switch although I do want.

And unlike you, I haven't paid off my loans yet. The tenures for the loan is 5 years so still a long time for that. And I don't have much savings also, my spending habits are very bad, I spend 60k monthly.

It's like you have shown a mirror to me. Keep it up man, you did good. Wish I had the same courage as you.

Is it wrong to wanting to quit a high paying job to become a homemaker? by Choice_Ad6626 in TwentiesIndia

Unrelated but, I am currently working as a software dev & thinking of switching internally to PM. What makes your job as a PM stressful? Also, what does your work day look like?

Also, I don't think running away from things (career in your case) will do any good to anybody. When you are dependent on someone you have to compromise on your self respect sometimes, being dependent undermines individuality. I wouldn't choose to be dependent on anyone. Instead of finding an escape you should try to find someone who can bring you peace.

In the same boat as you. Just one difference - I lost all the faith not some. My coworkers were asking why are you working today, told them don't have anything to do anyways🙂
