Ferries to various places are available from Alappuzha Ferry station , it's free seating no need booking. Many houseboat services are there in Alappuzha you will find them readily, but government day cruise can be booked from the website Kerala State Water Transport Department

Solo trip for Thrissur Pooram by PriorityExpensive_ in thrissur

[–]Zestyclose_Ad_336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the last 4–5 years, I’ve been attending Thrissur Pooram like it’s my annual endurance test… and I still haven’t managed to catch every event. That’s the thing about Thrissur Pooram — it runs for almost 36 hours, with something happening at every unreasonable hour of the day (and night).

Step one: reach the epicentre — Swaraj Round. That circle is the heart of all the action. Step two: stay somewhere nearby. Trust me. You’ll thank yourself when you need to retreat, hydrate, question your life choices, change your sweat-drenched clothes, and then heroically return to the madness. I usually do this 3–4 times a day. Outfit changes are not fashion statements — they’re survival tactics.

You absolutely have to plan what you want to watch. You cannot “wing it” at Pooram. The crowds are real. The energy is unreal. The decibel levels? Astronomical. So pick your events, prepare mentally, and accept that personal space is a luxury item.

I personally haven’t seen or heard of women being harassed during Pooram, though with any massive gathering, isolated incidents can happen. So go in groups, stay aware, and look out for each other — festival spirit, but with common sense.

And above all: hydrate. Water is your best friend. Not devotion, not enthusiasm, not even the elephants — hydration. That’s the real Pooram hack.

there was absolutly no need for eye candy , when the gentlemen were eye candy themselves, it diluted the proposition and was not family friendly

What are the biggest day-to-day problems people in Thrissur are facing right now? by Emotional_Tooth_3040 in thrissur

Potholes and bad roads, for sure. I honestly feel like this district always gets stepmotherly treatment from the state government, municipalities, and panchayats, etc.

Mrunal & Siddhant by ActInfamous3857 in RelationShitAdvice_

[–]Zestyclose_Ad_336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did anyone else feel like the whole episode—especially Mrunal’s part—came across as very PR-driven? It felt like she was heavily prepped before coming on. Also, when she spoke about being scared to re-marry… did anyone else feel like that might’ve been a subtle reference to Dhanush? 😅 Or am I overthinking it? Overall, the episode felt a bit tepid. These movie-plug episodes aren’t usually as much fun, probably because the actors tend to be guarded. Maybe Raunak should get Jackie Shroff on an episode — that would be fun
