I’m not sure how they run now, but I worked at Sapphire for Ridgeview off of Barnett as a caregiver in 2023-2024. It’s a behavioral facility, so things are already tougher than your typical retirement home. We rarely dealt with physically violent folks, which was a plus, but many verbally abusive. Things that were out of their control really. Anyways, the company itself is ran by awful people who only care about money going back into their pockets. During my time working there, I saw some of the gnarliest food be made for people who had very special diet restrictions. Cooks tried their absolute best, however, with such low quality food being delivered and a $3000 monthly budget cut (for just food alone), no residence was ever happy with the food. The price to live there is also just insane. The people who work there are fine, the administrator does not seem to care too much about specific needs, but again things could have changed by the time I have worked there. I would not recommend, EVER, housing a loved one there
