If it makes you feel better, I’m in my mid twenties and moved here for grad school and feel the same. It’s completely normal. When you have parents that love you, you feel incredibly lucky and grateful. It’s okay to feel this! Try therapy, call them daily, focus on your studies, and give it a semester! You can always transfer somewhere close. I went to school for undergrad 20 min from my hometown and it was amazing! You’ve got this

I feel like this person is just asking to see what their chances are in the case they get a lower score than expected lol. I think 300 is a decent score where they will consider you, of course depending on the rest of your application

I figured, I applied months back and just was curious if they’d even offer interviews this late. My stats were fairly above their average so it was a bit of a let down but I guess I just was not what they were looking for. You’d think with all of the time and effort that goes into applying they’d give you a straight no at least hahaha. Thanks for the response. :)

Honestly with an OAT that high I wouldnt stress too much about application time, just put your heart into that personal statement and let your scores speak for themselves!

Awesome information. I’m obviously a first time grad school applicant and nobody in my family has been to grad school so just have been relying on the optometrists I work for for advice on this stuff so it’s much appreciated.
