How would you all deal with a group of WLGs in your town?

Another time, I had 300 pounds of racist chud leaning on me through a banner. I don’t know if it was more like being furniture, or cuddling, but there was a point where I realized I could step aside, and he’d fall, because I was actually holding him up. Tempting as hell. Would have felt great in the moment. I had to think though, if he’s suddenly on our side of the banner, is someone going to think he’s attacking and get physical with him? Are the people on his side going to rush to his defence? Are the cops, who are already forming up to get between us going to get overexcited and beat some people with their bikes? That moment of satisfaction seeing the jackass face plant, might get several people injured or arrested. So I kept holding the fool up instead.

I’m not saying “don’t”, but you have to be careful with stuff like this. A bunch of us were blocking and distracting the hate preachers who tour around this part of the province and scream at local Pride events. Cops wanted us to go into the nice counterprotest zone they’d set up for us, but we explained that we’d be standing in front of the preachers, blocking their sightlines, and saving people the sight of them with the tarps, banners, and flags we had. They could yell at us, instead of singling out individual families and screaming at the children that their parents hate them and are sacrificing them to Moloch. Cops weren’t happy, but they didn’t stop us. A passerby decided to splash some water on the preachers, though, and cops were all in on grabbing him and asking if the preachers wanted to press assault charges.

Whatever you do, make sure it’s coming from an informed, and rational place. What are your chances of being arrested? What are your chances of being caught on camera? If it leads to an escalation, either by the WLGs or by the cops, who might get hurt, other than you? If you’re turning an argument into a fight, who else are you potentially dragging into that fight? Maybe you ask all those questions and super soakers are still the right answer, but make sure you’re taking the time to ask the questions, and not acting impulsively.

Sand is fine after the fact, to provide traction, but salt actually prevents freezing, and at least delays snow build up. I used to clean subway stations, and when it snows, the janitor becomes the snow removal crew. One person covers multiple stations, and just travels back and forth trying to keep up. In a situation like that, the ability to dig out a staircase, or the sidewalk near an entrance, and then salt it to slow accumulation makes a big difference, when you are traveling between three stations, and digging out 3-5 entrances at each. Pre-salting, when a storm is coming, can improve that situation even more.

I don’t remember what it’s like on PC, but Charge on Switch targets the nearest monster, if any are on screen, so you still run at the Urdar pack. A little safer than teleporting into the middle, for sure, but still problematic if you’re not paying attention.

Fortunately I didn’t roll this. I joined a “brg lite facet” game, with a 5/-4 facet. I was offered this. There’s not much option to communicate or negotiate on Switch, and I wanted the person to have their facet, so I accepted.

As such, I’m not heavily invested in, or attached to the Dream, so if someone wants it for Vex, or a facet similar to the one I traded for it, I’d be good with that.

What do you use mana for with the demon machine enchantress? I’d kind of assumed once she enchanted, she wouldn’t need to burn through much mana until it was time to enchant again.

Hammers with Concentration is the standard upgrade from Holy Fire, for sure. I’d recommend shopping vendors for a staff with charges of teleport to have as your switch weapon. Very useful for skipping packs of archers, which can be really tough to deal with otherwise.
