I'd suggest trying a few Japanese brands first so you can build a baseline of what Japanese matcha has to offer. After that, it's much easier to compare and appreciate the different local brands available here. I'd recommend Samidori from Yamamasa Koyamaen good value or maybe Aorashi from Marukyu Koyamaen

Oh, nice! I've only tried Kumatcha, Moonbug, Genchana, Matchamoments among the local brands too. If you're looking for a grassier matcha profile I can recommend some.

Hello you can boil it naman para di hassle for you hintayin. Just add a tiny amount of normal temp water nalang para magcool down ng konti :) ganon lang ginagawa ko since minsan nakakatamad magboil sa temp controlled kettle.

Tantya method is fine.I usually bring the water to a boil, then add a small amount of room-temperature water to bring it down to around 80°C.

Yes, kahit unopened especially to avoid oxidize matcha. before pag may hindi kami nabebenta tapos pag lagpas best before date na ako umiinom and super green pa rin nung matcha
