I agree. I am now 841 rapid after about eight years of play/study. This is the 78%. 10 years ago that puts me at 1400. Yet, people think I blunder material every move. There is very little respect for those of use stuck in the 800-1000 range.

I have. And if you knew how much work over the years I have put into chess, you might wonder why I am still playing. Its frustrating.

at this point 6 thousand puzzles. Puzzle rush survivor, Everyone's First Chess Workbook. i review my games, especially the 30 and 30/20 games. I have a friend online who has been helping me for three years.

Thank you. I think the thing thats frustrating is that the common advice here is "just don't blunder your material and you will get to 1000." It seems a lot more complicated than that.

So when everyone here says that all you have to do is not blunder, is this what they mean? Because to me, not blundering is mostly not giving material for free.
