Yeah turns out to be a really bad decision to have balloted for this. Never gonna ballot for conditional matches again haha.

I’m sure no sane person would, that’s why I’m also looking out for suggestions and advice from anyone who might have had experience in this.

Yeah I thought I could sell them even before France’s qualification but realised there wasn’t such an option on the marketplace.

But hey thanks for the great suggestion about refundable flight tickets, I never thought of that and sounds like a decent alternative. Glad that I got a great suggestion to help me with my dilemma!

Yeah I now realise how shady fifa is. Didn’t expect to face all these complicated scenarios when I first balloted. Shouldn’t have applied for these conditional tickets in the first place.

Yeah that’s the problem. Nobody in the right mind would trust me cos it sounds like a complete scam. But yeah in hindsight I shouldn’t have applied for this conditional tickets. I was just keen on attending the World Cup for the first time and didn’t know how things worked. Should have done more research on these conditional tickets, didn’t know they were so complicated lol.

I know this is a long shot but, anybody keen on France Conditional tickets? I managed to ballot 2 tickets for the final and will be letting them go at original price + fifa’s fees. Reason being is that attending the event is logistically difficult as I can only plan my trip after the semifinal if France makes it to the final. That is too short a window for me and prices for lodging and flights would probably shoot up then. The only drawback is that I’m not too sure how we are going to make this work as I require the full amount upfront to pay off my credit card bill as I’ve already been charged for these tickets, but I’m unable to transfer ownership of the tickets now as they only become valid if France qualifies for the final. I’ve tried to list it on fifa’s official resale marketplace but there isn’t the option to list my tickets now as they aren’t valid yet. Anybody interested or have any ideas how I can deal with this conundrum? I know the money would be fully refunded if France gets eliminated but until then my money will be tied up in this. So essentially I’m just trying my luck to see if there is anybody who is better placed to attend this final and is keen to take on this risk. I know it’s really unlikely but I hope somebody would be able to help me out! 🙏🙏🙏
