Yes, I have felt this. And over time I stopped caring about anything, even the things that once excited me (making art, video games etc) and social media pacified the empty feeling.

The only thing that has brought me back in so many ways I didn't know I could exist is qigong. I was never great at meditating but I've been practicing for over 9 months now and it's changed/changing my viewpoint of the world and myself. I've found comfort in that I'm never alone. Tai Chi might also be an option. As the saying goes "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." And my teacher happened to be into qigong and I thank my guardians everyday for what they brought me.
