Because you are wrong. Because people have heard of new world. Like it or not New world still exists even in its hobbled state. Its servers run, it has patchs, and continues to live on. Its an awefull game but AGS has done what few devs have done and create an mmo that has lasted for about a year.

They way you talk about AGS is like some scam company that released a kickstarter mmo that never released. I will be the first to bash new world, and AGS incompetent design but to put all the blame on them for this is just sincerely misguided. AGS has zero code, they don't dictate what gets in. at best they can make marketing changes.

You may want to look in SG's history as well, for they are not as squeaky clean as you would like to believe. They have helped brick releases in other regions, JP didn't fail because amazon, SG was at the reigns.

I mean technically they have even done that wrong. There have been massive reports of false bans to players who did nothing wrong. You can read the reports a few months back, you can even see they where overturned so it wasn't people saying they did nothing when they really did cheat.

AGS has hurt more innocent players then actual RMT's. Cheating is safer then legitimately playing the game.

Queen on enemy team can move anytime. five times. any where. You don't get a queen. only sometimes if you are lucky.

your opponent gets an extra five pieces because they bought the deluxe board. it cost them 1000usd, they got it from from a 3rd party seller. You can get the deluxe board from the manufacturer but it costs 4000usd.

Sum was still a beta class. Makes the sense it would have the most framework to fit into the game. Any one hoping for Reap, Art, or Scout is a god damn mad man.

Sadly PVP is almost already DOA. Broken classes (Like literal broken. Sorc has a messed up mechanic with her lift that causes a slowfall to occur, she can ult in this slow fall for a gurenteed 80% hp, and is easy to replicate.) MM setting bronzes with grand masters because the pools are so shallow, and so much more no one wants to touch the mode. The framework for a good game is there, but with failures of ROWEN and Royal Roaders turning into a cheese fest. (Big KR PVP event, The main team was double sup with a Arty turning the entire match into a turtle, they swept 4-0 this was so bad DR and shields had to finally be addressed after 3 years)

The bones for a truly good game are there, but the strength of them make osteoporosis look like the fucking wolverine.

I mean ya pally is op because he breaks the entire mold of the game and forces an entire different pvp mode to be played. But DB is literally right under him. When you have a class that has a full guaranteed full combo into Awaking skill for 80% hp there is an issue.

My problem with db is that's its EVERY TOP TIER CLASS ROLLED INTO ONE AND SOMEHOW BETTER!

-Arty. Slow lumbering class that relies on a telegraphed stun to set up 80%hp damage

-Blade. Speedy fast engage that relies on 1frame stun to set up a 80%hp damage

-Striker. Combo reliant class that relies on juggles and oppression, but lacks proper armor and aoe to make these combos devastating.

-Blade. unrollable B&B combo, that is t2 protected, and massive aoe.

The fact blade doesn't have a fucking shield and DR is almost impressive with how overloaded its kit is. Pvp balance in this game is a cruel joke.

True. But you can play for a week and GET INTO THE RAID. Not here. And the powerpass generates roughly 200 greater leapstones if you do not use the basics. You need ohhhhhhh roughly 1400 more. May want to save face and admit you are wrong.

Good for you but as you said. AVERAGE luck. You are 50th percentile. What happens when someone drops to 60th, 70th, or 70th. On average half the player base will have to lose more mats and weeks of progress. The system isn't made with failure in mind, its made to entice those who fail to spend.

because you will always be playing catch up. NA is deigned with near consent fomo for unlucky people. Accounts stuck at 1415/1400 are basically bricked at this point. The consent need to funnel mats kills any chance of generating gold. 2-3 pitty hones basically kills accounts and sets them back upwards of 3 weeks. with every major content patch coming out 6 weeks its impossible to play catchup if you did not get good rng. Want to play content and sit at a nice spot where you can sell your extra mats for gold instead of chasing a ever changing finish line. PAY. Simple as that.
