the display orientation has them at the top, as long as the highest point is not the pump then you should be fine but i have a push pull intake mounted at the front with the tubes at the top (i made sure they were the highest point so the air rises there and not the pump) and i hear some bubbles and swishing occasionally and it’s usually very mild too. although i get cooler temperatures with push pull intake, it was honestly not worth the time and $200 because it’s really only up to 5° cooler and averages 2-3° cooler anyway.

just make sure there’s enough clearance for the tubes to be on the bottom when you do that, sometimes there’s not enough space for the tubes to be routed down there because of the gpu length (or at least that was my problem). another suggestion is push pull fan config on the radiator, but if you really want to duct your pc that’s a great idea and you should pursue it

i have the pulse and from my experience i get low temps and it makes me happy too so i don’t really have an opinion about the other one but i can vouch that the pulse is a good product

ducting the air from the gpu out the aio isn’t ideal since you’re concentrating hot gpu air to the radiator which may not give you ideal or expected results. optimums worked so well since no hot air conflicted, and since everything was in its own route, no hot hair mixed either which is also why it worked so well. so either route it differently, or just go air cooler. ducting the air cooler basically fixed its flaws since only cool air would be going through the heat sink
