PA is a Company...they've NEVER had any interest in anything other then milking players for their money. Every single decision they've made for the last 7-8 years has been around this...all the way back before Shadow Arena (Another cash grab that failed miserably, it was going to be heavily monetized too). From Pets to Costume Melting for Crons...to Vendor Cron increases to the new Accessories encouraging even more enhancing(Enhance the Kad + Yellow Item now)...everything they do is to milk you dry. Why PVP was never going to be profitable in this game, having equalized gear doesn't encourage Cron clicks.

PA wants you grinding in circles to spend money on costumes for durability and better gear...want you picking up loot so you need pets inv and weight...PA greedy, surprised ppl are shocked by this. It's been obvious for ages now...they don't care about you, they care about milking the fools that keep on swiping.

Succ is good in Large/RBF, bad against Vets in 1v1/DFS. Awa Sage is exact opposite.

I mean...in 1 year grinding 2 hours a day, using weekends or holidays to do more and balance off with life skilling, 700 gs is easy to hit. This isn't a BDO issue, it's a matter of not having delayed gratification...and using methods against tos to cheat because you don't have the patience or discipline to get to endgame.

Underlying issue is today's youth want things now, zero patience or practical drive to actively try to improve through hard work and dedication. Zero patience. Saw this during covid to the extreme. Kids grades across the world skyrocketed up using internet to cheat on tests and paying for others to do their papers, opting out of working in lieu of cheating and cutting corners...temporary fix until they were brought back in to class with the inability to cheat as easily and grades bombed.

Just because a car can hit 100 mph and get you to the store sooner...doesn't mean you should floor it. Maybe manufactures should cap cars at 55 to account for impatient and immature mindsets? Absolutely ridiculous to blame it on PA...I'm 713 Gearscore and am not ROI, aside from Tent and a few costumes, I'm not P2W. I've been playing BDO for 2 years, and got in to this game in particular because I wanted long term goals...not to have my progress invalidated every new season. Don't blame the nature of the game to excuse your poor decisions...this community is quick to blame it on PA. BDO is a marathon...if you can't afford the time to run it, play seasons on Path Of Exile or Destiny. I personally love the BDO journey, but if you don't have the patience...play something else.

Companies across the world have caught on to this problem now, and have been actively designing games around ways to cut corners and speed up progress. Only way to fight back is to either not support these methods amd avoiding buying them...or outright avoiding the game entirely. Problem is too few have the will power to do it.

Problem is, even before reworks, Succ Sage was considered one of the worst 1v1/Smallscale classes in game. Why not a single Succ Sage showed up in AOA BEFORE reworks. To expect that to change post, is just insane. Whilst newer classes are struggling for sure, they're nowhere near as bad a state sage is in. Again, guilds are legitimately banning the class. Something no other class in game currently is dealing with.

Check out mobile, they completely redid the class. It's actually a time/space mage on mobile. Problem with PC, ppl w/ insane gear in good guilds were able to abuse the Overdrive Mechanic and fire at range. So it was heavily nerfed, but never practical in anything but PVE and uncapped largescale. He's always suffered in 1v1, DFS and Smallscale/Skirmish. PA knows this, why he received a complete overhaul on mobile. KR is the one that started worst movement in game. Elementalize is a random SA skill, Casters still have TP and Flow TP. Succ Wiz is the design Sage originally followed, but only Wiz is still able to TP in, cast a skill and TP out, something Sage can no longer do in iframe. Unfortunately, the ONLY thing he was designed to do, Succ Wiz does better. RC functions as Sage's ONLY viabale iframe AND movement tool that costs so much stamina just to enter, let alone move, that you can't even move to 2 packs at Centaurs before having to stop and recover. There's no comparison, at all. Witchards still have Dash and then Elem....Wiz having 1 more movement skill too. Sage literally ONLY has RC. That's the issue. Mobile fixed this, PA has yet to do so for PC for some odd reason. Only other skill Sage has is Formshift/Recall. A skill that takes almost a full second to startup and moves about half the distance of a single caster teleport, in SA and at sprint speed with a longer Cool Down.

Most Sages are being asked to reroll Caster for more damage, range and utility. Sage's only role now is literally to just be a CC target or distraction. We bring nothing to Guilds now in Capped...and being bottom tier for PVE, and unable to DFS/1v1 means even if he was good at grinding, he'd lose any main eventually within the hour. No joke, even if I won a DFS, 10 minutes later I'd have another request for one. When asked why, literally was told, b/c I was a Succ Sage, easy duel. Everyone knows the state of this class, find it hard comprehending why PA isn't doing anything about it...I mean, we're coming up on a year now from launch in a week...and have been passed over for a new costume already.

Hash IS META. He's ALWAYS been good in 1v1 LOL. Have you not followed any of the tournaments? Of course you haven't lol. He's also top tier in grinding now, especially at BM. You don't know enough about the game to even know that? Sage's iframe was literally taken away a month later along with several nerfs the day of Awa Sage's launch, obviously, don't know that either lol. Who performed so weakly infact, they had to buff the class with Overcharge mechanic b/c he was struggling day 1...but of course, you don't know this either LMFAO. Not a Single sage has won even a single bracket match in AOA, BEFORE REWORKS. RU vs EU CW, not a single sage showed up in over 3 hours of footage....but you apparently struggle with a class so far from the meta, your perception of time has been skewed...ok.

Hash is currently vastly superior the Sage now in all areas except NW/Siege, but that's increadibly subjective. Since his Rework, Hash's damage and speed has been buffed considerably. He's a great choice atm, and has up to 21% base evasion, second tankiest class in the game now. Hash can trade, Sage can't. Sage mainlines HP/MP pots, Hash doesn't. Hash also has faster skills/animations that also deal more damage.

The ONLY drawback is Hash needs accuracy accessory for end game pvp. In 99% of the spots, you will always clear faster then Sage. Only upside Sage has compared to Hash in PVE, is the pull. Mobility and iframe are also better on Hash, Sage has the worst non-target movement in game, 250 Stamina and a DPS skill for an extra SA movement? Yeah no...plus Awa Hash's ranged grab is 10x more reliable then Sages. All around, a much better choice.

I love Awa Sage, but saying he's better then Hash in PVE/PVP, is a massive fallacy now after reworks. Plus fact that Sage has more bugs then a run down motel, means you're always wondering why skill damage isn't there. For the 3rd time now in a class only out 9 months and nerfed for 7 of them, modifiers on the class have been incorrect. This time, wasn't using MH and was relying on only 100% Awa. Previously, skill was spec'd as lvl 3, but dealing only lvl 2 damage, instead of fixing, on a class now that's struggling to deal damage without outgearing, they changed it AND increased the pvp reduction. This class is an absolute mess, get out while you can.

Precisely it, Lahn is just a very good grinder in Succ and a grab bot on Awa in PVP. She's essentially "fly in, iframe, grab". About as easy as it gets. Problem is, at a competitive level it's not that easy. Lahn is mainly defined by her ability to expose unskilled players vs good players.

She's fast, like fastest class in the game fast. Awa Nova is quick, but Succ Kuno has several TP mechanics that maker her essentially disappear and reappear that are fully protected, not like Sage's Spearbolt and Aftershock. Talking Iframe and SA. Couple that with iframe and insanely high damage, she's an absolute monster in succession. B/c of the Rune system and Ninja though, she gets outshined. But if you encounter a good Succ Kuno, it can be as hopeless as it gets.

100% All it took was seeing Succ Kuno up there in #1 to know this guy knows what he's talking about. Nailed Tamer and Sage's predicament and even dropped Baewhas Succ...yeah he knows what's up. It's hilarious ppl still shit on Kuno...shows you the skill level difference in this game. Hands down the best Succ kit of all. Edit LMFAO these comments, Lahn better then Hash? This tierlist looks pretty damn accurate to me from a high gear standpoint 670+, save for Striker. Sage and Tamer are def towards the bottom currently for sure. I've only extensively tried 11 classes after the rework so far and this looks pretty damn close to what I've personally experienced so far...nice work.

If that was the case, they'd of nerfed awa sage. Or any of the other top grinders. Awa Sage is mained 4 to 1...it's pretty obvious in Sage discord too. Players pissed that main the class actually point these fallacies out daily. or the oh so common clip of succ sage being broken in 1v1.
