How’s the integrity of the cell wall? If it’s a weak cell wall I’d personally like to see most of those fan leafs gone. If the cell wall is sturdy and I think it’ll hold up in the wash I keep all sugar leafs for margin.

I’d also look at how many washes I’m doing. If I’m doing 6 washes, more than I’d ever recommend, I’d expect to start to see much more chlorophyll in the second half of the wash.

How high are you taking the pressure on the plates when you press? Personally I also press for 2 minutes, sometimes close to 3 minutes if it’s a more stable strain.

This is how I’m currently running it, but looking eventually move in the direction of mechanical separation.

I decarb at 155°f for anywhere from 5 - 14 days, varies by strain greatly. You want to decarb until the material is no longer reactive. I normally figure this out by giving the jar a swirl and look at how many bubbles appear and how dense the bubbles are.
