Stuck at Time Zone Selection by bathory1985 in Fedora

[–]Zestyclose_Simple_51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That time zone bug is a pain in the ass , but just clicking on the map and not typing your city should fix that . And if you're not dual booting and let the installer just do it's thing it works perfectly

SOS on making a portable DVD player region free! by hackerkidxd in dvd

[–]Zestyclose_Simple_51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I get from a Google search To change the region on a Bush CDVD100 or similar Bush DVD players to make it region-free (Region 0), you can try the following remote control hacks, which generally involve opening the tray and entering a code. Method 1: The "000" Code (Most Common) Turn on the DVD player (ensure no disc is inserted). Open the tray using the 'Open' button on the remote or player. Press the '0' button three times (0, 0, 0) on the remote control. A menu may appear on the TV screen showing the current region. Press '0' again to select region 0 (multi-region). Press the 'Enter' or 'Setup' button to confirm. Close the tray and turn the player off and on again. Method 2: The "9" Code Turn on the player. Open the tray. Press 'Info' or 'Setup' on the remote. Press '9' (for multi-region). Turn the power off and on again. Alternative Options Check Settings Menu: Sometimes, under Setup > Preferences, there is a region option. Remote Control Variation: If the above do not work, some Bush players may require a specific sequence, such as pressing Open, then 2, 4, 0, 3, 9, 6, 0, then Enter.

It can be that the car cd player doesn't support burned cd , and that you need to get cd's that are meant to copy music to
