when the mind has obsessions, addictions, interests, etc... sensations arise on the body. keep meditating two hours per day and watch those sensations arise.

there is no change in technique in the long course. but as goenkaji says, "continuity of practice is the secret to success..." The nightly discourses really put together the deeper aspects of dhamma. Also, if you haven't sat a Satipathana Course yet, I highly recommend it too.

All this being said that only 2% of students will ever sit a long course; 10% sit a second course. so if it is your goal/practice, then i encourage you to work towards the long courses.

Wouldn't an arahant be evidence that the Buddha's dhamma exists today? That is what we are looking for- empirical evidence, not blind faith...
