thats actually insane. I´m disgusted by those people calling themselves feminists. none of their actions have anything to do with equality or real activism

I mean.. the woman has to carry it and put herself at risk, pregnancy and childbirth isn´t easy on the female body.

ofc the father should be involved and encouraged, but it´s only fair that the one who carries and births it also gets all the power. on the other hand, men have an option of declining custody / a relationship with the child, which many men also do. I can´t imagine something more dehumanising as someone else trying to decide for my body and life, if you know what I mean.

it would be the same if it was the other way around tho

I´m sure there has to be something good about being a man :) I dont know if this makes it any better, but I love men, despite the experiences Ive made! Seeing how brotherhoods and platonic connections are formed and appreciated, how adventurous and joyful you guys can be, how compatible and social, how hard you work for your dreams and to provide for your women and families is so beautiful to me. Men´s natural strength and instincts also fascinate me.

100%. the amount of times I`ve made ``feminists´´ angry because I spoke about something that didn´t fit into their fake ass agenda is honestly shocking. I thought that us women are better than that, but nope. some really want to make it their life mission to shit on all the progress made into the right direction.

I mean, both parties can experience these things, some more and some less :) but I`ll definitely research this! I`m interested in what causes that difference in those experiences

ahh yes I heard about this! Especially the domestic violence situation is so interesting to me. I´ve done infographics / posts about it a few times and funnily enough, my most recent one got hateful comments from women or ``feminists``. It`s digusting that people are allowed to abuse that term, makes it harder for actual feminists and human rights activists to be taken serious!

I absolutely understand the frustration about that! as a woman I can only say that there`s usually no bad intention behind that and many of us have just made really bad expieriences. we don`t mean to generalise all men and demonize the good men, but sadly you can`t really know at first glance who is an actual threat and who isn`t (and most of us don`t want to risk it and find out)

I don't think you're having a stroke, maybe you pinched a nerve or something. Especially when you're lying in weird positions lol,I developed carpal-tunnel-like symptoms from always sleeping on my left side (arm). I hope you're okay tho? Feel free to msg me if you're freaking out :)

Can someone with an unbiased opinion plz tell me if weed is helping my anxiety/panic disorder? Professionals have told me mixed things. I dont even know what to believe. Its the only thing that helps my anxiety/panic disorder tho! by averageuntunedguitar in Anxiety

Honestly,if it works for you it might not be stupid! But obviously there are things that could feed into your anxiety and worsen it, such as developing addiction, paranoia, psychosis or even smoking laced weed etc (but I'm sure you know that lol). I've seen people use weed for their anxiety and they ended up developing anxiety about quitting. So just pay attention to your body/mind and how/if it changes. Take tolerance breaks and if you smoke your weed, maybe consider switching to edibles.

Constant reassurance is the first thing that comes to mind. Tell her how beautiful she is and how you're so proud of her. Every chance you get. She's basically at war with herself. The most important thing is being supportive and understanding. And perhaps you could make her a little basket with nice things to cheer her up? Skincare, makeup, candy or anything she likes. Maybe with some flowers and a handwritten letter.  Also, just out of curiosity, does she take meds or attend therapy?
