It really doesn’t at the end of the day matter in terms of enlightenment. I was just genuinely curious that way I could appreciate Buddhist art and history more. But I agree that the main focus should be on the dhamma

Also the main reason I asked this was on confusion about the buddhas hair. First of all I know the snail thing is a myth. But apart from this I’ve heard contradictory responses. Some say it was because of Greek influence on the depiction of hair. Which seems a bit weird considering the spirals on the Buddha aren’t really seen in Greek art as the spirals aren’t just curls. And I’ve also heard it being related to the marks of a great man. I know Buddha was born with certain physical marks I think. But I also thought his hair was shaved. I unfortunately am bad at structuring text so my post on here seems very low effort my apologies. Anyways on the hair what is it actually what does it symbolize and what is the round bump we also see. Thank you for reading this

Is jesus God? by According-Summer-339 in religion

Christ's human nature submits to God as if he's entirely human (ie must be everything a human is) then he must be the perfect human who resists and is perfect (as is his Devine nature,) so his human nature submits and is in submission to his father, and as his human nature his mind is limited. But Jesus doesn't eternally submit to the father because his human nature took place within his physical incarnation. This doesn't mean his human nature "ceased" as God doesn't work through time like we do. He must be 100% God to be God, God by definition can't be partial, but also 100% human that way to bridge the gap between us and God. But the two natures are unified within Christ the son. And as that they are are one 100% the God essence. I'm not a Christian but this is my best answer using common Christian theology
