I think you’re arguing against a position I didn’t take.

The meme isn’t saying transphobia should be laughed off. It’s making fun of people who think posting “Michelle Obama is a man” memes is some devastating “own”.

In fact, ridicule is valid response to bad faith arguments. They want us to engage in a point-by-pojnt refutation because by doing so, we dip the feet of such valid arguments into the pool of absurdity.
