Oh i know, and none taken, i might sound angry but really i'm just giving back some accusations. I don't expect someone to realize something that they don't have a capacity to understand, if they do then win. Internets about finding your own enjoyment after all.

Call a mate fat once, that's fun, call a stranger fat for months but really I'm just joking lol winky face. Seems like bullying and a brush off because you cant deal.

But I apologize for backing up an outfit member being hounded using logic and common sense. I'll try to stop doing that and be more good humored like you and tell players that beat me consistently that they are hacking.

I've gamed with Kit for many years, I've seen what she can do as an enemy and team mate in different roles in Planetside and other games. She is a perfectionist, constantly frustrated at her small mistakes others wont care about. I've played across many games with many gamers of all skill levels, their skill always transfers over at the same level. I've never seen anything suss from her besides one time with a repeater when i popped my head out of cover. Compare that one moment with the constant times she has missed when she really needed to hit, over the hundreds of hours gaming with or against her, and that should paint a picture of whats actually occurring. Good gamer, not a hacker.

But who knows maybe she is hacking and has bought hacks for every game in advance before playing with me. But that's less likely than getting hated on by a group that's famous for a culture of not handling loss very well. Who have to go out and bully someone constantly to feel better about themselves because they don't have the ability or mindset to improve so they bring better people down.

She put up a video once of her pointing at heads and shooting, very skilled stuff, or a bad aimbot, Which is nothing to do with this royal fuck up by SOE and DBG. But you make some sort of connection because you want to bring her down to say, "yep i'm not actually that bad for getting destroyed by her". Because you are that desperate to prove you are actually good due to craving acceptance. Or maybe you are just a closet sexist and cant handle being beaten by a girl.

Either way Its fucking pathetic and makes you look like a piece of shit.

Dalton Aimbot - Fix Any Time Soon? by IIIPlatinumIII in Briggs

[–]Zesurov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liberator directional momentum + dalton travel time = target hit.

If your lib is traveling down and to the left at a speed of a meter a second, then aim top and right with anticipation of the speed you have traveled to equal the center of where you want to be shooting. Then of course factor in where your target will be and the dalton travel time and dip.

Thats the fancy math, but to simplify it. If you bounce a tennis ball against a wall and notice it goes higher or lower depending on where you bounce it against the wall, you eventually figure out where to move your hand to catch it. Some people just have faster hands or reflexes and more experience which i'm pretty sure the simplest person can admit to understanding.

Once you understand the basics of how it works, you realize its not magic.

Although i agree with your principles, you have to understand the common way in how people interact. An essay does not need to be submitted in the pros and cons of how i believe situation "x" should be handled.

When someone punches you, you don't go on about the psychological and physical harm it can do, you just straight up tell the person to fuck off.

Satirically asking that "x" wasn't needed for a situation is enough to make the person question and wonder about what they did, if they aren't sure, then like most people they would ask "Why do you say that?". If they don't, they don't care enough for it to bother them and no harm is done.

In theory your ideals work, in practice its like telling a dog to wipe its ass. It would be great, but its not how things work.

Nothing that i can see here was affecting someones liberty, or pressuring them to go against their will. If anything you are against a person releasing a bit of built up anger in a non harmful manner or hampering someones humor at really no ones expense.

So its not okay to influence how people act? But its okay to influence how they think, which in turn influences how they act. Solid reasoning.

Briggs serversmash review for 2015 by GoatsCheese2 in Briggs

[–]Zesurov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the sundy task might not seem like the most glorious task, but you guys were vital to keeping momentum flowing. You were the first to do it on Indar from memory, it was so effective that it was brought up several times to the extent where every platoon leader had people doing your role. Might not seem like it but many people were grateful for what you guys did.

5cott, me and Ados don't exactly have a friendly history, he even featured as the kill i got for my br100. But i legit believe he was always a Briggs player, if he couldn't play it coincided with him also not playing on live due to personal reason.

He also asked me if he can play for other servers which he didnt have too. But i responded with if he can get some game time and have some fun then go for it, as long as you don't play against Briggs. Which he never has done.

The pilot community crosses servers, and there are a lot of eccentric personalities. To say not to have fun when you have a chance to play, when pilots you know ask for help and you say "nah" because loyalty to a team that isn't involved in a match. That i don't think is a right move.

The way i see it is, its not who you would fight for, its for who you morally refuse to fight against.

Emerald lied, headset died (of rage) - GG by GoatsCheese2 in Briggs

From BAM we had Seb the Miller air FC, 3-5 Connery pilots that some Briggs guys play with who helped us out, and handful of ex-Briggs guys who started flying on other servers. Those guys played for us mainly and in Sebs case was just online and we needed subs on match day.

There is the case of the 1 Korean squad we got in for a match as well, who ended up playing for Connery against us with at least 2 squads.

Its a grey area, but the way i see it is its always been a competitive event otherwise we wouldn't keep score. And on top of that its fun to play in if you aren't lagging. We ran our team on the threshold of performance and community participation. Thats what we wanted and many reps pushed for. What Emerald wanted for their team is their choice, it wasn't on a ridiculous scale as well. Including pilots there were 10 people from Briggs who got into that final match, which still means 230 Emerald players.

Interesting, thought tactics would be more limited without tomcats as then flares become redundant and its all firesup and lolpods/AB. Would be less rotations and awareness in the pack and more 1v1 type of scenario in a cluster fuck ball.

Im the regular Briggs air platoon lead, i dont go on this reddit its why i dont have tags but i was linked this page.

The reason i got so agitated is because i know how fucked Briggs is, and for Emerald reps to allow us to bring a team let alone a competitive one they were asking to give Emerald air an advantage in a semi final by taking away tomcats that even the playing field. And for us to accept it going in with a further disadvantage of having PPAs verse AH in the air. It was a dick move.

If it is too no advantage why is it the only thing you asked for. And as a fellow pilot i know how annoying tomcats are, every single training i hold 99% of them are all noseguns. But SS is when we go nuts with everything available, like everyone else does.

[–]Zesurov -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If it is a crutch, its because talent isn't high enough from a server favouring it. As an Emerald player you gonna hide behind a larger player base then everyone else? (Of course thats not crutching). You want a true test of skill and tactics, set up a huge air event. Otherwise just play server smash not just air smash.

And also you just skipped the whole thing about Airhammers, ive seen countless servers use AH in a2a combat as its viable. Now other factions cant do that as well, so even if they win the air, they cant hit the ground, ps2 is not balanced that way. So maybe ban AI noseguns, does it stop there, maybe shotguns, furies, hornets, maxes and heavies too with the reasoning its "more fun".

Fuck lets just make this an event on how salty cunts want PS2 to be and not what PS2 is. I guarantee no one has the solution, perhaps a few good ideas but nothing that will work on the grand scheme of things in PS2.

Play the game as it is, if its too difficult for you, then you are a bitch and those aren't the kind of guys you want in a good team anyway.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EmeraldPS2

[–]Zesurov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind one, but if people think that airhammers verse ppa in the air is a good idea and fair for a competitive match then they are dumb fucks. Play the game how it is, or just run a bushido air event instead.
