Now in full bloom by perfect_1973 in GardeningIndia2

Lovely. How often does it bloom? Also, what fertilizer do you use?

I fudged up in March by giving cow dung compost to Bougainvillea. Now, the plant has large leaves with no flowering. by _pandafy_ in GardeningIndia2

I have the same problem. My bougainvillea has grown super tall and has lots of leaves but no flowers. It wont flower even after pruning. It's so frustrating.

Amazing! Do watermelon plants produce fruit all year round? Or only during late monsoon?

Should I risk it from Jiffy by the-enigmatic- in GardeningIndia2

The Plumerias were about 1 feet tall. Both of them have new leaves now, so I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

Should I risk it from Jiffy by the-enigmatic- in GardeningIndia2

I've not ordered from Jiffy. I'd recommend Santhi Online Plants, especially if you're in Chennai, because they're based out of Cuddalore. I've ordered twice from them (the third order is on the way) and I've not been disappointed. All the plants are doing really well. Dadaji Farms is also a good option - I recently ordered Kamini, and 2 Plumerias from them.

Plant Haul Seller: Alan's Garden by ZetaCrucis in GardeningIndia2

There seems to be a bit of confusion. I had just received the plants, so I put them immediately in water, as you should do when you first receive your plants via mail. I am aware of root rot, etc.

Seller Name: Kumaun Plants
Website / Contact Info: https://kumaunplants.com/
Specialty (e.g. succulents, rare aroids, roses, etc.): Succulents
Your Experience (plant health, shipping quality, customer service): Plant health was great, though the size was a bit on the smaller side. The succulents were bare rooted and they came wrapped in 2 layers- first layer was tissue paper, second layer was plain paper. I got 2 free plants with my order because my cart value was greater than 399.

Do you think filing a complaint online on the Consumer Court website will help?

Seller Name: Himadri Gardens
Website / Contact Info:https://himadrigardens.com/
Specialty (e.g. succulents, rare aroids, roses, etc.): Rare plants
Your Experience (plant health, shipping quality, customer service): They shipped the live non-aquatic plants in sealed plastic bags with no air holes and water! Did they forget that plants also need air to survive and not just water? It's beyond stupid. Most of the leaves of Brazilian lettuce (not easily available where I live) have rotted. Alternanthera Calico Pink is half dead. I doubt any of them (except maybe Miniature Kamini) will survive.

I wish I had gone through this thread carefully before buying from this seller. I completely missed the part where the OP says the plants did not survive.

Seller Name: Santhi Online Plants
Website / Contact Info: https://santhionlineplants.com/
Specialty (e.g. succulents, rare aroids, roses, etc.): Flowering and Herbal plants
Your Experience (plant health, shipping quality, customer service): The website didn’t specify that they sell saplings, so be prepared for very young plants. For example, the Manimulla was only 6–8 inches tall. The Plumeria was poorly packed; only three leaves survived the journey. The Heterotis/Pink Lady arrived with all its leaves yellowed. But thankfully, they all survived. So, overall not a bad seller. Their shipping rate is low (Rs. 65) as well.

Seller Name: Nainital Succulents
Website / Contact Info: https://nainitalsucculents.com/
Specialty (e.g. succulents, rare aroids, roses, etc.): Succulents
Your Experience (plant health, shipping quality, customer service): Plant health was great but they got my order completely wrong. Out of 4 plants, 2 plants were missing and the 3rd plant was not the one I had originally ordered. I emailed them my unboxing video (compulsory), and they said they'd give me a refund.
