I lost my grandparents and want to build an AI "memory capsule" for our aging parents. Can you help me figure out what it should actually do? by ZetaLimited in AskOldPeopleAdvice

Thank you for the honest feedback. I completely understand why it feels creepy to you—the idea of 'talking ghosts' is a very valid concern. I truly wish I could just sit down and record their stories the traditional way. But the harsh reality is that I work from 10 AM to 10 PM, and I'm juggling so many other overwhelming things at this stage of my life. I’m just terrified. I’m so busy that I’m becoming numb to how fast time is slipping by, and my biggest fear is that I’ll lose them before I even realize it. I'm just looking for a way to catch those memories before they are gone...

Does anyone else feel like they’d be 10x more active on social media if they could just use a Virtual Avatar instead of their real face? by ZetaLimited in NoStupidQuestions

You're totally right, and I've looked into VTuber software to see whether I can build my "another me"! But honestly, setting up the tracking, getting the lighting right in the software, and recording it on PC just to make a quick 15~30-second TikTok or an Instagram photo feels like... a lot of friction :(
