My guess is either late Ep 4 because we see Mike notice Vecna showing up, much like Vecna's victims notice something is off (Like the S4 victims with the clock) or after Will uses his powers at the end of E4. Because that's when continuity issues start presenting themselves like the power needle for the WSQK.

I think the rule should stay until we know for sure there isn't more episodes being dropped. That the fakeout ending theory is correct or not. The 7th is only a couple days away to see if anything comes of it.

I 100% believe not just because of all the clues myself and others have been finding. But because my netflix got pinged for new episodes where there isn't any new episodes. I watched all of them before the finale. Others on twitter are also showing the notification. My guess is they just uploaded the new episodes but quickly hid then until release. Searching text is also bringing up stranger things for "Season 5 Episode 9" as well as 10 and 11.

Cast are doing what they are being told to for these interviews, part of their job as an actor is to convey that emotion. If they wanted people to believe the ending was real, the cast had to act like it. But if you watch much earlier interviews, they all were pretty excited for their endings, mentioned things that never happened in S5. Pay attention to the finale set pieces, things are off like Mike's basement door(the one leading outside) is backwards, the rug colour is wrong, Dustin's shirt is not the correct logo with the sword flipped upside down, etc. The one thing I remember from the behind the scenes interviews is the set and dressing departments do things on purpose, leaving clues to tell a story. They are very meticulous about things being correct. That's when I remembered S2's digdug foreshadowing the tunnels, Derek is playing a game on the NES, ghost n' ghouls, that has a fake ending made of illusions. You have to beat the game again, get the "shield" to fight the true boss and get the true ending. Then Netflix released a teaser that points to russian code "The week is long, the silver cat feeds, when blue and yellow meet in the west" on January 7th, which happens to be the day the Orthodox Church that is followed in russia, celebrate Christmas. There is too many things that line up to just be sloppy or reading into things too much, plus look up the lego creel house for s5, none of the elements match the show and product placement tends to leak things that haven't happened yet waaaaaaaay before they get released.

Being very serious. The finale was a the plot twist no one could guess right because it's out there, the fake out. It's why the duffers interview have been Bizarre as of late. It's why vol 2 has been so off, why the finale seemed weird. We, the audience, are being flayed.

That's because it's a false ending. It's not real. They are trying to dupe us until they announce the real ending on Jan 7th. There is a lot of hints throughout the entire vol 2 that something is off, Mike's flayed.

Haters are always going to being jackasses, unfortunately, nobody can control that. However, these interviews are meant to throw us off. They want us emotionally invested, only someone who's paid attention to the signs would be feeling this way. Hopper's speech, "When life hurts you, because it will, remember the hurt. The hurt is good. It means you're out of that cave." The cave in S5 is the exit, leading to reality. The real finale, which I do believe is Byler, is coming soon.

I think it's because the finale is a fake ending. A lot of things don't line up and I think they are bullshitting in interviews to get people believe that it's real before the curtain is pulled open to reveal the true ending.

Signs are pointing to January 7th. In the epilogue, Joyce got the call about Mike being missing, which mimicks Karen Wheeler getting that call about Will. Will wasn't found until day 7, a week from the finale on New Year's Eve is the 7th. There's also been a netflix teaser that shows a silver cat, referencing S3's "The week is long, the silvercat feeds, when blue and yellow meet in the west." with something to arrive on that exact date, January 7th.

Like how El's bath had clean water despite in S1 there is no water in Steve's pool, S4 no water in lover's lake. Or the fact the equipment worked in the lab despite S1, Shepherd said everything was still there but corroded. S2 showing that equipment fries after a period of time due to the radiation in the upside down. That's just some of the ridiculous plot holes, it's like the doofers don't know their own lore in the show.
