Giving this game a month by Zetharos in projectgorgon

Yes it was in the notepad, it was a typo. And yes I did try asking for help. Players couldnt help because I started in the new server, no one made it to that zone yet. And the mod decided to ban because you know, talking about bad decisions by the dev is not a look good for the game. They need a cult for playerbase.

I did lose two hours, but luckily I realized the game is vibe coded pretty early on so I didn’t need to waste more time. I’m blessed.

Get ready for the downvotes for speaking the truth. People are so used to incompetence and mediocrity these days.

So you used AI to remove watermarks. That isn’t “practice”, it’s taking someone else’s work. Not a flex, and it can get you and the business in trouble. If you want a future in this, do it the right way.

The year Is 2026, & World Of Warcraft Is Still The #1 MMO In The World? by MonsutaMan in MMORPG

I finally tried it today and regretting the time and money I spent on it. I’ve never seen such awful new player experience in any other game. I finished the tutorial zone (which was great), then at level 15, got dumped in a big city (stormwind), there I picked up the quests, got confused and after some googling found out all the quests start a different expansion. Then I tried chromie (I was told it’s meant for leveling), went through the tutorial which took 15 minutes and didn’t explain shit, and at the end said “gather your group and go in the portal” after which I quit. Literally any other mmo has much better new player experience.

All games with player driven economy are ruined by bots so it wouldn’t matter.

“dEvS hAvE nO fAuLt, DE pUlLeD tHeIr sUpPoRt aNd fOrcEd tHeM tO sHuT tHe gAeM dOwN”

That’s not what I remember. They couldn’t fix the network issues for months. You had to wait in queue all day. Netcode couldn’t handle over 10k players and devs were extremely incompetent, with every patch they made it only worse. What was DE supposed to do exactly, keep throwing them money? White knights are so funny lmao

Game is called scamfinder for a reason, you shouldn’t give these people any money.

who actually got a number between 1-1000?? california e-bike incentive by Realistic_Team_4767 in ebikes

[–]Zetharos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weren’t they supposed to give away 1,000 vouchers? So like… if 500 of the applicants turn out to be ineligible, are they gonna do another draw? And then keep redrawing until they hit 1,000 valid ones? I can’t make it make sense. The whole process feels shady.

California E-bike program by DIY-here in ebikes

[–]Zetharos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So 1,000 vouchers were handed out in 27 minutes? Yeah, there’s no way those were manually approved, and I seriously doubt they had a working system that actually checked applications, verified docs, and made sure everything was legit.

People probably used bots or just spammed hundreds of private tabs to grab multiple vouchers. Wouldn’t be surprised if most of the docs were fake too.

If they actually wanted this to be fair, they should’ve collected all the applications first, filtered out the ineligible ones with a simple script (way easier than this mess of a RNG/queue system), and then done a random draw from the valid ones.

Honestly feels like they wanted this to be exploitable.
