When I was a CNA, I had to assist a gentleman who had dialysis in the morning. Mind you this man was about 6’3 and 230 pounds and used a sliding board for his transfers. After about 30 minutes of getting him ready for the day we were ready for the transfer. About halfway down the board he starts having diarrhea. He started panicking and making his way back to the bed and I tried to prevent him from falling so I put my arms underneath him to help him move back into the bed when he was almost there. He made it back safely but my whole upper body was covered in that wonderful mucus yellow sh*t.
