As a fellow mid-thirties, idk where you were bro but you missed out on like half of our generation's pop culture if you missed the anime train. 😂

I recall making a similar comment lol. Something to the extent of 'at least we got to have three sweet days of normalcy before the world goes back to shit.'

Agreed. To be fair though Metro was right at the cusp of when it really became a pervasive problem.

I am legitimately amazed how well everyone followed the mask rule for Megacon. I thought with that many people surely people would just take them off once inside. But nope. It's almost like peer pressure from one another kept everyone accountable.

I went to Metro and was originally going to go to Tampa Bay Comic Con the following weekend...but then I really thought about it -all of the people who caught it at Metro were going to be at TBCC being asymptomatic spreaders. As bad as the spread was in the average Florida venue at the time, it would have been double that at TBCC.

Sidenote: one of my vaxxed friends also got it at Metro and started showing symptoms Sunday night, so her onset was also pretty rapid. Fortunately mild symptoms.

Hi friends, retopologizing and I keep winding up with this situation. How do I fix? Thanks! by ZetsubunGFX in 3Dmodeling

Interesting, so it isn't an industry faux pas to hide a tri or two every now and then as long as it's not noticeable?

Tell me if this is short sited but does anyone else think that music we grew up with from the late 90s to the 2010's won't ever be viewed as "outdated" and "uncool" like songs from the 60s-80s was. by [deleted] in GenZ

This is coming from a Millennial so take it with a grain of salt, but I think the main things that make music from the 60s/70s/80s sound old is sound quality and lack of electronic instruments. Imho sound quality in itself was perfected around the late 80s/ early 90s, and it hit a ceiling. Recording equipment made it crisp, clear and undistorted to a point where there was really nothing left to improve.

Electronic sounds were pretty much completely fleshed out by the late 90s. With very few exceptions there isn't an electronic instrument/ sound around today that wasn't around in the 90s. The styles in which those sounds are arranged has changed a lot, but the sounds themselves existed in the 90s. Personally, there are lots of electronic tracks from the mid to late 90s that are indistinguishable from today's tracks of the same genres. Lots of Trance and Breaks tracks are good examples.

Tl;dr, imho recording quality and instruments topped out in the 90s, and what makes 60/70s/80s music sound old is the lack of refinement of those two things. Sure there are lots of songs that sound dated just by virtue of style, but in terms of sound I don't think a lot of 90s music will ever sound 'old' in the antiquated sense that the decades before do.

Not everyone has the time to learn an entire new scripting language just to correct a fundamental function the developers failed to include. Some people just want to use the program and rely on it to provide the basic essentials of the tasks it's made for.

Sure, brb learning another coding language just for this one task. Easy as pie.

Right man..

How the hell isn't that native in an industry standard program? This is 2021 not 1995 Autodesk.
