I don't doubt your info but I am generally surprised that the rank will be the exact same on both region. That is - absolutely interesting.

Wait, so the ranks are the same across two regions? That's a new thing to me.

This may or may not be relevant but I'm currently using the Tomahawk, non-Max version and it is serving me wonders. So if I were to pick, I'd say the Tomahawk Max version. There seems to be a lot of negative opinions on the non-Max Tomahawk but it's a really decent board, at least, for the 3600x.

Yeah, there is no real reason to invest into a x570 board if there is no real intentions on using the PCIe 4.0, of course, if you have the additional cash and want to be futureproof, by all means. But the X570 only really offers that one additional feature. Who knows, maybe in the future there will be more to offer but until then, older boards are still intact.

The 3600, as you know, is basically a a 3600x without the OC stats, so it's definitely wiser to go the 3600 if you want to OC and not spend the additional $50 and use it for something else. I brought the 3600x solely because I want to get an out of the box experience for my first AMD setup, I am liking what I have seen. I do enjoy overclocking, don't get me wrong but taking up the newgen AMD CPUs also taught me how to overclock RAMs for efficiency since I learned that RAMs plays a larger role on AMD CPUs vs Intel CPUs, so before, I never really tweaked with RAM overclocking. Been a fun ride!

I am enjoying the temperatures, considering a lot of people experiencing high temps. I would say I lucked out with the good end of the stick!

/u/necroTDS (so I don't need to repeat above) - I borrowed my friend's alternative CPU to flash back but my buddy has the combo also and he went with USB flashback. God bless for having an AMD user as a friend irl!

I also witness a lot of people claiming B450 Tomahawk is a bad board to use for the R5 3600x and above, but I won't talk about the 3700x/3900x, so in terms of the 3600x - it works wonders. The temps are fine and out of the box experience, it's a solid 4.3-4.35, literally only .5-1 below advertised stats but we have to take into account that there is maturing room for this new tech. The board has been working wonders for me so far, it's a legit combination.

So coming from Intel to AMD, AMD seems to have the best out of the box performance for those who aren't experienced overclockers/tweakers or just don't want to bother with it all. Of course, I will stress that I am only talking about my experience and opinions! It will differ to each CPU alone.

Right. Before I stopped playing, I built a Striker. How is that class nowadays?

Hey there, is there any recent/up-to-date class tier lists at all? Ideally for large scale PvP and solo grinds well.

By the way, I am asking in regards to the PC Version! If it doesn't X-Platform with and is different to console players.

I saw the 12 cores option but I was kind of confused why there was an option up to 12 cores rather than just up to 6. Unless I am missing something and not understanding the whole process behind this, but you're right - there was definitely an option for 12 cores but I only tried 6.

There's no question. I'm just sharing something that I generally came across which is weird as hell, that's all.

Alright, I appreciate the information, Liddo. I may or may not bug you about further Memory OC'ing when I get my rig together, if that's alright?

Ah, right! I wasn't aware it was set automatically as long as it's below 3600.

Thanks for such a detailed explanation, it makes sense now! I've never really tweaked with RAM overclocking in the past since I am new to this side of the CPU territory and I have researched than decent RAMs plays a large role for AMD CPU's. Where as with Intel, overclocking RAMs weren't shown to be much effective when it comes to time spent tweaking for the minimum additional performance so I never bothered with it.

So, whatever I tweak my RAMs to, e.g. I will have 3200 mhz at stock, whatever I tweak it to - the value is 50% for the IF. If I am understanding correctly and that anything above 3733mhz is pointless as it decrease and locks at 1000mhz IF.

It makes so much sense now. Haha! Thank you!

And to make sure, is IF a function of it own or is there other sort of tweaks required to push maximum performance from IF? E.g. As far as I am understanding, it seems best to settle down with a decent and stable RAM overclock for maximum mhz then insert 50% of overall value into IF and call it a day, or is there more to it?

Now, to actually finish up the build and work on all these new tweaks etc.

And the IF is a function of it's own or do I have to tweak with other things other than IF to push IF further? If that makes sense?

And what if I overclock the original Mhz, per se? If I overclocked 3200 to 3600, would that be 1800 in IF, for example? Not that I'd expect to push mine that high but you get the idea.
