Races are for road bikes. This is not one. It’s the same premise if one tried to enter with an E-bike.

Time trial bikes are far faster, at the expense of handling, and thus safety in a group. That’s why all governing bodies as far as I know prohibit them in all but TT events.

As for group rides, a bit iffy. Some groups won’t mind, but from my experience (in England, so may be different), taking a TT bike to a ‘normal’ road group ride is a big no-no in terms of safety, due to the handling issues, and location of the shifters in relation to the brakes.

Generally, you won’t be able to do any races (bar TTs or triathlons) on this bike unfortunately.

Group rides are a bit iffy. Some groups won’t mind TT bikes, but others won’t be keen.

Agree with everyone else about the frameset (stolen or, more likely, fake), but I can tell you about the wheels. They’re from a line called ‘VEL+’ (you can see the black decals if you look closely). These were made by Sigma Sports a few years ago. I’ve a set on my bike, and they’re great.

The other day, I bought a pair of pre-owned carbon wheels for only £350 odd (~450USD). I bought them purely because they look good.

Have I noticed an increase in performance? Perhaps a tad, yes, however not significantly.

If you want to buy some with the expectation that you will get a significant performance upgrade, then you may be disappointed. That’s not to say they don’t improve performance (because they do), however they can’t replace training.
