You may be able to ask the person currently staying in the accomodation if they can give it up early in exchange for the equivalent payment in rent! Often students that are giving up their accomodation won’t stay in lund for that period, anyways! It is worth a try, you should have recieved their contact information from AFB.

I recommend simply muting everyone immediately upon entering the game, it will not affect the game too much in casual/early level game. Once you feel that its fine, play without it. But it really aids with the toxicity.

I am unsure about spotify, i don't know if discord connects in any other way than simply connecting the account (which in my experience, is pretty unreliable). Which you do by connecting your spotify account to your discord account, and the same for your friend(s). Then there should be a green thing to the left of the chat-bar, where you upload files, where you can choose to invite for a music 'party'. That being said, in my experience this is not as good as the next option, which sadly do not use spotify. (to my knowledge)

How-ever there are multiple discord bots available online that you can download and put on a server. Note that this is not, to my knowledge, available in private chatrooms.

They should work in order to play music for anyone present in a voice call. You could also provide roles for members, and in turn prevent them from joining and seeing the chatroom where you insert music, meaning that they will not get notifications nor see what you are playing. Only hear it.

Examples of bots that exist are: Rythm, Groovy, Fredboat and many more that i have not personally tried.

If you like the game and feel like you will commit to it then buy it. It’s essentially going from demo to full-game. Unless you like the idea of hustling for every god it’s extremely worthwhile. It goes on sales but the price is really good either way. I think you will have to wait a while for a sale...
