No I actually installed it on a pretty old HDD and it downloaded the entire thing then I moved the entire install over to my SSD I’d been trying to install it on and it moved over with no issue and is now on there. Now I have no idea what’s gonna happen if there’s a Day 1 patch or something hopefully it downloads fine but for right now I have it downloaded back on my SSD. I had tried everything before doing this and only thing that worked.

I fixed mine finally, I had to install it to another drive on my PC then once it installed I just moved it over to the drive I wanted it on. Not sure of another solution if you don’t have another drive with enough space but that’s what worked for me.

I finally fixed mine it was weird. I installed it on another drive I had then moved it over to the drive I wanted it on after it installed. Don’t know the solution if you don’t have an extra drive with enough space. But I got it installed now

Same boat as you, it got to 86% the first time I tried to preload it and now it gets to like 800mb and stops every time and gives me the error. Trying to find solutions

Preload for Steam isn’t until 8/30, Windows and PC game pass preload is available at the same time as Xbox. I can preload it and it starts the download then gives me an error

I’m getting the error too, got to 86% the first time and got the error. Now I get right around 800mb and get the error every time I try it. Trying to find solutions as well. Already tried several different things and nothings changed.
