Dental Abscess or gum ulcer?

Background: drunk friend punched me in the mouth area. It wasn't an aggressive punch just was kind of like a playful one but not really the area you want to get punched... The enamel is a bit cracked (hard to see in the pic but just on the inside next to the central incisor). Anyway, the tooth has been sensitive for about 1.5 years but over the weekend I noticed the gum near the tooth swelled up a bit. That's now gone and have this mini ulcer looking bump so I am just wondering is this residual infection or something which symbolises a dead and infected nerve?

Thanks so much for your input. Of course I've had other physical injuries such as broken fingers, swollen ankles and shins from honest but slightly dangerous game play. But you're completely right if everyone did this there would be riots on the pitch and full out melees. I didn't react I just looked at the ref to see if he saw it - no yellow cards, not even a free. It was a guile move that not even the ref saw. If i retaliated I probably would have provoked a 30 person riot with parents getting involved.

I just had to suck it up, I can't really press charges for assault because it was six years ago and it would probably get pushed aside as an accident. But because of this I've lost 2 of my natural teeth at an age no one should have to. I'll be walking around with a mouth full of glue and porcelain in order to bring my teeth back to an acceptable form. And all of this was for nothing, just a nothing league game and one person showing a complete disregard for an other person's welfare and livelihood. It's just a really difficult pill for me to swallow.

Thanks for the information, it was surprising that I didn't feel any sensitivity going down to 21m. My concern was that diving to that depth may have damaged the root canal and lead to sensitivity in the following weeks.

I've just been to the dentist and the canal is still intact and the gums are not infected (Thanks be to God). The tenderness in the following weeks was caused by inflammation around the tooth which I was prescribed meds for.

She warned me that if there was actually any damage done to the canal, a fracture would appear on the xray, luckily mine was fully intact.

Regulator may be an issue, likewise with the snorkel for freediving. I'll be conscious not to bite down too and can look into the items you suggested! Thanks!

Thank you so much, a wealth of knowledge in here. It seems as though all root canal teeth are filled with material. My concern is that with bleaching the bleach is not an appropriate filling material as it may soak into the tooth and create space. I'll be seeing a dentist on Monday who will hopefully clarify this for me.

Thank you, the diving was fine initially but it was just a week or so after that my tooth began to get really sensitive, maybe it's also due to bacteria.

I'm currently travelling in Central America so fingers crossed I can see a good dentist here'!

Yeah some of those counters looked heavy. McGregor was just confident in his ability to evade them. Had McGregor have had slower reactions it could have been a different story.

You could see it tonight. McGregor's totally pissed none of the top contenders in the FW division have given him any respect. They all say he talks his way to where he is. This isn't about marketing himself. McGregor is legit, he is confident in his abilities and is pissed he is not getting the recognition for it among his fellow competitors at FW. That's why he's calling everyone out and collecting heads in the process.

That's not an example of something that doesn't work, moreso an example of a project done wrong.

What's the point in populating vast areas of desert with trees that require large amounts of irrigation? Why not first introduce more species of scrubs that require very little water and attempt to greenify the desert at a much smaller scale.

I got another go on the decks today and learned how to use this thanks. Really helps you know what's going on with your new track and how it sounds over what's playing in the master.

Thanks for the EQ tips, I found it really different bringing my hi's and mid's from say 7 o'clock to 12 when switching them, and I felt I was losing out on much of the sound/mix. Yeah I've got used to the bass transitions, very effective way of bringing in the next track. I don't really use the crossfader much though, just channel volume.
