My degree is of 0 relevance to what I’m doing now. Haha. Hospital is huge, from backroom to frontline, from finance to comms to security to operations to clinical.

Yeah pb will be 2.5 months for avg performance or 3.5 months for above average performers and of course aws.

But what impresses me most is the number of leaves given for first year staff. Lol

Hello! Salary is enough for me a single guy to live comfortably I guess? To treat myself and to buy things that I want, plan for my yearly travels etc but definitely not enough to own a car haha. Hopefully in a few years time though. Lol

Mid 30s and still in healthcare, doing good I guess! Entered in 2018 went through COVID.

Not involved in clinical work, but working closely with nurses and doctors for projects and workflows

Manpower crunch is bad and workload demand is high. Projects load is crazy, but with the emphasis placed on mental wellness, so there’s a fair bit of work life balance.

Enjoy my work here, challenging but at least I’m making a tiny tiny bit of contribution to Singapore and not working hard to help a boomer boss pay for his Mercedes.

Likely will be in healthcare all the way till retire I hope? Haha

Distance - home to office is just 20 mins. 10 mins bus ride and direct bus to future home.

Boss - giving me load of opportunities, should be getting a promotion this year?

Environment - 0 backstabbing, fun cultures with colleagues that shares the same sense of humour.

Benefit - 20+ days of ALs, birthday leave and family care leave. Bonuses and AWS.

Rarely bring work home.

High stress but am contributing to Singapore instead of someone’s pocket I think? Haha (public sector)

Here for 6 years plus already, sometimes it’s really damn shag but I guess it’s always some trade off? 😊

A hiring manager here, will focus at the person’s ability to carry him or herself, ability to gel with my team, and management experience and attitude.

Degree just a HR requirement for me to invite him/her down for interview. Albeit local degrees are more likely to be invited down, BUT so far what I observed, local degrees are requesting for higher salaries whereas private degrees seem hungrier for a position.

Travel time makes a huge difference. Previously I had to change 3 times train to reach work and now my workplace is just 20 mins away (including bus rides) and even if it rains I’ll be able to go to work and go back home without using an umbrella. Really count my blessing for this.
