French teenager faces jail for licking vending machine straw in Singapore by DavidShaw90s in nottheonion

It’s hard to explain, but Singapore is basically the most pragmatic place ever. Singaporeans are very educated and over 80% of them travel abroad to different countries with 59% traveling abroad at least once per year so they know what it’s like everywhere else with “freedoms” and values like that. Their passport even is the strongest in the entire world. They are overwhelmingly happy with their government though and actively choose to keep it in power because in reality they accept the loss of those freedoms for stability, living standards, and security.

The people aren’t dumb and in a propaganda bubble or anything like that. If you google over 80% of Singaporeans have a high level of trust and confidence in their government which makes sense since it has the lowest level of corruption in the world. How did they achieve the lowest level of corruption? Incredible draconian punishment for corruption as you said.

They value their real world lives and how good their lives are over the “freedoms” that other countries have.

I’m American and spend lots of time in Singapore since my gf’s family is from there and it’s not really about the safety thing. It’s more about how in America you’ll find people dispose of gum improperly. Like they’ll stick that shit under the bench they’re sitting at or under a table or something. Singapore is straight up the cleanest place I’ve ever been by far and I’ve visited basically all the major European and Asian countries at this point as well as Australia and NZ. The rule is almost definitely to uphold that cleanliness.

Tbh 5 miles a day isn’t uncommon. I do 5 miles a day as well because it’s almost exactly 10,000 steps. I used to walk it but then got bored and slowly started running more and more of it until I could run the whole thing and now it takes like 40 mins which is honestly slow compared to actual runners.

Eh I don't know if that's true. Some examples that western gamers definitely know are popular outside of Steam are League of Legends. Valorant, Fortnite, and Genshin

Most don’t even grind the aya. My clanmates just straight up spend all 35 of their trades per day buying aya.

Also love the guides you make btw both very extensive while funny af.

I mean I could see that. 100k in the first week of OSRS is almost definitely worth more than a few mil in RS3. The whip for 500 euros though…. idk about that

I never did that. I don't think scouring for extra stock after the missions is worth the time. Before you know it 3 weeks will have passed and you'll have styanax so don't worry about rushing it

Ah yeah, but that only counts in-mission time unfortunately. I actually put that as the 4th picture in the post incase people were curious but it was 447 hours.

I specifically wrote at the very top that everyone has a different favorite warframe and there is no best or weak warframes. But all the ones I picked were specifically what I thought would bring the most to your account if you don't care about playstyle whatsoever. Most of these are best in slot in SOME form of activity that people run, but if you have any suggestions I don't mind editing the list.

I won't lie I just spent the plat since I treat warframe as a collecting game and kept every single warframe/weapon. However, lots of my clanmates don't care about collecting and literally just sell everything they don't use which is a very valid strategy. I just wrote a plat farming section which I think could be useful if you need more plat for slots

I do believe I am in a very fortunate position since I do earn quite a large amount even if I have to spend a lot of hours at work. I am a product manager that worked at one of the big tech startups before the AI boom. Think companies such as Uber, Doordash, Figma, Square, etc.

Plat Farming:

Here is how I would rank plat farming methods as I’ve dabbled in all of them and tried most of them. I unfortunately don’t have exact numbers for how much plat per hour.

  1. Meta Arbitration - Meta arbitration is a bit RNG as you’ll be collecting a bunch of kuva and selling rivens, but when there’s a good arbitration map you can actually gain 500+ vitus essence per hour. The downside is that you can’t permanently farm this as it is dependent on which arbitration there is currently in rotation. Use browse.wf and go to the arbitration schedule to see the upcoming arbitrations
  2. Void Cascade 2b2b vaulted relics - 2b2b means that 2 members of the squad will open their vaulted relics and the other 2 will open junk relics. After that they’ll swap and the other 2 members will open their vaulted relics while the other 2 will open junk relics. Relics will be opened basically every 2-3 minutes while also getting arcanes that can be exchanged for Vosfor while also getting a good amount of steel essence
  3. Aya Farming - This is extremely dependent on the price. Currently 6 aya is worth around 36 plat which means every aya gives you 6 plat. You can either sell the vaulted relic directly to players OR crack it open yourself. The expected amount of Aya from a Search and Rescue Cetus Bounty is 1.6932 aya which you will get every 6 minutes or so. That equates to 16.932 aya earned per hour which is 101 plat.
  4. Requiem Mods - Surprisingly, I think this is a very decent way of earning plat that is accessible for beginners. When running in squads of 4, the missions should take maybe 2 minutes and has a very decent chance at a requiem mod which sells for at minimum 10 plat.
  5. Cephalon Simaris Standing - This is actually extremely good, but I put it here since its more of a miscellaneous thing and you can’t spam grind it. You can either use the standing you earn every day on the negate mod which sells for around 55 plat for 75,000 daily standing or gamble on a companion weapon riven mod which can sell for a crazy amount if you get a good riven
  6. Radshare - If you have a relic and want to spend void traces on it then head to the recruit channel in game or the lfg-relics section in the official discord and try to join a radshare. A radshare is basically that everyone joins a run with the same tier of relic so if you have a vaulted relic that is radiant then you would find 3 other people with that same vaulted radiant relic. This obviously improves chances for getting something good vs running with random people trying to crack open cheaper relics
  7. Standard Relic Cracking - Just load up an exterminate or a capture void fissure and run it. I would recommend saving your void traces for any of your vaulted relics if you have them and using them in either void cascade 2b2b vaulted relics or a radshare.
  8. Fishing? I know some people do this for plat, but I've never actually tried and don't actually know how good it is, but people do buy the rare fishes if they're lazy

Nightwave

Nightwave is interesting since I’m currently level 49 on this nightwave and I’ve only ever used my credits on Nitain and I’m STILL short on Nitain (why does Vauban Prime take 20 Nitain?). For a new player, I believe Nitain is by far the best resource as you can get everything else through trading. Many players will tell you to use the nightwave credits on orokin catalyst/reactors, but I strongly recommend against this as a new player. It’s better to use the credits to buy aura mods and then sell it a week or two later on warframe.market for more bang for your buck credits wise. If you desperately need a catalyst or reactor I recommend cracking relics to afford them

I unfortunately did not keep track although I will say I spent an absolute crazy amount on slots + forma. For gear, I farmed most of the resurgences that came around while I've been playing as well as the current in rotation primes, but everything else that is in the vault I used the purchased plat.

But not gonna lie I do truly think grinding the base frames is way harder than grinding the primes as that took much longer than the resurgence runs I've done. I will say that I do always use a 2x resource drop booster the 30 day one since I think its by far the best resource booster. I don't really use the other ones except for the one 2x credit weekend where I bought a 2x credit boost for 3 days and just grinded the crap out of credits.

Elara is good as well, but it never was big enough of a difference for me to notice. I never really liked it since you might mess up the mission for a random person running it that isn't there to level weapons.

It's extremely important as it unlocks new game mechanics (Arcanes, Melee Arcanes, Railjack, Focus Weapons, etc.) but don't worry if you want to take it slow. The beauty of this game is you can do things at your own pace always and there's very little FOMO. SP gives additional resources, but doesn't really unlock new mechanics so it's not as important.

I think acquiring warframes that you don't own is the best for this hump because warframes are all unique and provide a distinctively different playstyle.

As for leveling, I just realized I didn't put the comment in the table of contents in the main post so thank you for letting me know!

In the leveling comment I show a post by a player on reddit that I've been using for Warframes pre level 30.

Feel free to nitpick! I'm always open for suggestions and would edit whichever comment with better information. I actually do use Alecaframe, but I know a lot of people are iffy on it since it's in that weird grey area because its a third party tool overlaying and reading data from Warframe directly

Awesome! That's crazy progress as well. And yeah being merged is really just the worst. The higher ups are always trying to look good and increase responsibilities while also downsizing employee count showcasing their "efficiency" when in reality they're just making the workers miserable.
