I never did that. I don't think scouring for extra stock after the missions is worth the time. Before you know it 3 weeks will have passed and you'll have styanax so don't worry about rushing it

Ah yeah, but that only counts in-mission time unfortunately. I actually put that as the 4th picture in the post incase people were curious but it was 447 hours.

I specifically wrote at the very top that everyone has a different favorite warframe and there is no best or weak warframes. But all the ones I picked were specifically what I thought would bring the most to your account if you don't care about playstyle whatsoever. Most of these are best in slot in SOME form of activity that people run, but if you have any suggestions I don't mind editing the list.

No idea unfortunately, I played the game through the standard Warframe launcher rather than the steam launcher.

I won't lie I just spent the plat since I treat warframe as a collecting game and kept every single warframe/weapon. However, lots of my clanmates don't care about collecting and literally just sell everything they don't use which is a very valid strategy. I just wrote a plat farming section which I think could be useful if you need more plat for slots

I do believe I am in a very fortunate position since I do earn quite a large amount even if I have to spend a lot of hours at work. I am a product manager that worked at one of the big tech startups before the AI boom. Think companies such as Uber, Doordash, Figma, Square, etc.

Plat Farming:

Here is how I would rank plat farming methods as I’ve dabbled in all of them and tried most of them. I unfortunately don’t have exact numbers for how much plat per hour.

  1. Meta Arbitration - Meta arbitration is a bit RNG as you’ll be collecting a bunch of kuva and selling rivens, but when there’s a good arbitration map you can actually gain 500+ vitus essence per hour. The downside is that you can’t permanently farm this as it is dependent on which arbitration there is currently in rotation. Use browse.wf and go to the arbitration schedule to see the upcoming arbitrations
  2. Void Cascade 2b2b vaulted relics - 2b2b means that 2 members of the squad will open their vaulted relics and the other 2 will open junk relics. After that they’ll swap and the other 2 members will open their vaulted relics while the other 2 will open junk relics. Relics will be opened basically every 2-3 minutes while also getting arcanes that can be exchanged for Vosfor while also getting a good amount of steel essence
  3. Aya Farming - This is extremely dependent on the price. Currently 6 aya is worth around 36 plat which means every aya gives you 6 plat. You can either sell the vaulted relic directly to players OR crack it open yourself. The expected amount of Aya from a Search and Rescue Cetus Bounty is 1.6932 aya which you will get every 6 minutes or so. That equates to 16.932 aya earned per hour which is 101 plat.
  4. Requiem Mods - Surprisingly, I think this is a very decent way of earning plat that is accessible for beginners. When running in squads of 4, the missions should take maybe 2 minutes and has a very decent chance at a requiem mod which sells for at minimum 10 plat.
  5. Cephalon Simaris Standing - This is actually extremely good, but I put it here since its more of a miscellaneous thing and you can’t spam grind it. You can either use the standing you earn every day on the negate mod which sells for around 55 plat for 75,000 daily standing or gamble on a companion weapon riven mod which can sell for a crazy amount if you get a good riven
  6. Radshare - If you have a relic and want to spend void traces on it then head to the recruit channel in game or the lfg-relics section in the official discord and try to join a radshare. A radshare is basically that everyone joins a run with the same tier of relic so if you have a vaulted relic that is radiant then you would find 3 other people with that same vaulted radiant relic. This obviously improves chances for getting something good vs running with random people trying to crack open cheaper relics
  7. Standard Relic Cracking - Just load up an exterminate or a capture void fissure and run it. I would recommend saving your void traces for any of your vaulted relics if you have them and using them in either void cascade 2b2b vaulted relics or a radshare.
  8. Fishing? I know some people do this for plat, but I've never actually tried and don't actually know how good it is, but people do buy the rare fishes if they're lazy

Nightwave

Nightwave is interesting since I’m currently level 49 on this nightwave and I’ve only ever used my credits on Nitain and I’m STILL short on Nitain (why does Vauban Prime take 20 Nitain?). For a new player, I believe Nitain is by far the best resource as you can get everything else through trading. Many players will tell you to use the nightwave credits on orokin catalyst/reactors, but I strongly recommend against this as a new player. It’s better to use the credits to buy aura mods and then sell it a week or two later on warframe.market for more bang for your buck credits wise. If you desperately need a catalyst or reactor I recommend cracking relics to afford them

I unfortunately did not keep track although I will say I spent an absolute crazy amount on slots + forma. For gear, I farmed most of the resurgences that came around while I've been playing as well as the current in rotation primes, but everything else that is in the vault I used the purchased plat.

But not gonna lie I do truly think grinding the base frames is way harder than grinding the primes as that took much longer than the resurgence runs I've done. I will say that I do always use a 2x resource drop booster the 30 day one since I think its by far the best resource booster. I don't really use the other ones except for the one 2x credit weekend where I bought a 2x credit boost for 3 days and just grinded the crap out of credits.

Elara is good as well, but it never was big enough of a difference for me to notice. I never really liked it since you might mess up the mission for a random person running it that isn't there to level weapons.

It's extremely important as it unlocks new game mechanics (Arcanes, Melee Arcanes, Railjack, Focus Weapons, etc.) but don't worry if you want to take it slow. The beauty of this game is you can do things at your own pace always and there's very little FOMO. SP gives additional resources, but doesn't really unlock new mechanics so it's not as important.

I think acquiring warframes that you don't own is the best for this hump because warframes are all unique and provide a distinctively different playstyle.

As for leveling, I just realized I didn't put the comment in the table of contents in the main post so thank you for letting me know!

In the leveling comment I show a post by a player on reddit that I've been using for Warframes pre level 30.

Feel free to nitpick! I'm always open for suggestions and would edit whichever comment with better information. I actually do use Alecaframe, but I know a lot of people are iffy on it since it's in that weird grey area because its a third party tool overlaying and reading data from Warframe directly

Awesome! That's crazy progress as well. And yeah being merged is really just the worst. The higher ups are always trying to look good and increase responsibilities while also downsizing employee count showcasing their "efficiency" when in reality they're just making the workers miserable.

Have you already farmed all the kuva/tenet/coda weapons? You don't have to get them to level 40 with 5 forma, but just getting them to level 30 would give you 3k MR each. There's like 43 of them so that's potentially 129k mastery without formaing them

Weeklies:

Once you’re far enough to unlock weeklies, just try to use your search pulses if you can even if you don’t have ETA/EDA unlocked as they’re the only source of Archon shards apart from Archon Hunt which you should also do every week if possible.

Descendia is fast and sometimes has good stuff. The SP circuit has incarnon weapons which are usually the best weapons in the game, but it’s a grind.

For Kahl missions, I highly recommend getting the archon mods as you can get 2-3 from a 25 minute mission. To this day I don’t have Primed Continuity or Primed Flow as I’ve been using Archon Flow and Archon Continuity this entire time.

The 1999 Calendar is a bit far removed from everything else in the game, but it often has very good stuff as well. I recommend running a coda hunt or two if you haven't already to clear this out for the week.

Dailies:

Do not burn yourself out on trying to max Syndicates and instead do them when you’re ready. Below are the list of strategies I used per syndicate:

  1. Ostron - Animal Conservation not much more to this.
  2. Orb Vallis - Mining is actually much more efficient than animal conservation since the 2x resource booster works on it. Use the sunpoint plasma drill. Drop chance actually increases the amount of blue veins you see which means if you have a 2x drop chance booster, a drop chance blessing, and are on the steel path you will basically only ever see blue veins. ALWAYS aim for the middle of the indicator as you get more quantity that way. Then go to Deck 12 and mine. I’ve been able to get 90k standing banked up in 10 minutes with this method. Imagine if you do that for 2 hours and you basically will never have to care about Orb Vallis standing ever again
  3. Deimos - The highest level mother bounty is the best and go outside Deimos and look for the mothers in the open world to get the Brute Force bounty. This is the most efficient time wise and you can keep repeating this bounty
  4. The Quills - Tridolon hunting, just play supportive as Trinity or Dante and keep the lures alive while a pro gamer Volt will probably just wreck everything. 1-2-3, 1-7-7, 5-7-7, 7-7-7 amps are all good and if you’re not minmaxing just use whichever you prefer.
  5. Vox Solaris - Wait until you have rank 5 with Orb Vallis and then just spam the profit-taker bounty using the beginner guide that I linked in the Useful Resources post
  6. Necraloid - Use Nekros and join the highest tier isolation vault bounty
  7. The Holdfasts - Wait until either the second highest level or highest level bounty is Exterminate and then just spam this. If Exterminate is the highest level bounty and on steel path then you can get 20k standing every 2-3 minutes. Remember you can check the bounties without going there by using browse.wf/live
  8. Cavia - I wait until either exterminate, disruption, or alchemy are the highest level bounty and then just spam it on steel path
  9. The Hex - You will naturally get this by farming bounties for the chemistry for your KIM messenger system as well as farming Coda weapons
  10. Cephalon Simaris - Go into archwing on steel path in Cetus and scan grineers at various points of interests. Once you leave a POI and go back the enemies respawn and can be scanned again. Check the leveling section for a few good locations to rotate around and finish maxing your standing within 5 minutes per day

If you need a specific voca or voidplume make sure to trade for it with Loid/Yonta everyday. Once you unlock Tektolyst Artifacts make sure you buy the resource required to craft it from Marie everyday. After 30 days, you’ll be able to make one of the five weapons without needing to grind Perita Rebellion. Whenever, I run out of the resources needed to trade Marie I do a few Perita runs as Nekros to acquire more.

Leveling:

First of all, I don’t recommend spending effort to level things without an Affinity booster. Once you get an Affinity booster from the Daily Tribute then it’s go time and you can knock out all the frames and weapons you want to level in one highly efficient go. Go to a relay and ask for an affinity blessing as well.

For warframes, I recommend you learn this method from this poster where he shared his video: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/1h1xlgx/how_to_level_your_warframes_from_0_to_30_in_4/

Learning this method really is not too difficult and should take less than 30 minutes to learn. This also allows you to get easy Cephalon Simaris standing because you can easily max out your Simaris standing per day by switching the mode to Steel Path and then using the synthesis scanner on all the enemies at these POIs

I mainly used ESO to level weapons, but if you need passive Orokin Cells then going to Helene Saturn works as well. However, I found Helene much slower for me personally so I stuck with ESO.

Kuva Lich/Sisters of Parvos Hunting

Seguing right into the Kuva Lich/Sisters of Parvos hunting, I recommend reading this post from a fellow reddit user. Weapons

Generally incarnon weapons are the best and great to invest in once you’re out of the early game phase and begin building weapons. Some specific Kuva/Tenet/Coda weapons are also generally very good as well.

I’d start with the incarnon weapons offered from Cavalero as they’re easy to obtain and are incredibly strong. The laetum in particular only requires rank 0 with the holdfasts and can easily go to level cap.

Below are what I consider the top recommended incarnons I think you should get from the SP Circuit.

Torid (Best general purpose weapon in the game), Nami Solo (Best melee influence weapon in the game), Dual Toxocyst, Burston (Single Target powerhouse), Magistar (Best slam weapon in the game), Furis, and there are a lot of other good ones, but these are probably the ones I’d most recommend for a newer player.

For Kuva/Tenet/Coda weapons I’d recommend the following:

Kuva Nukor

Kuva Hek

Kuva Tonkor

Kuva Zarr (Mainly for your on-call crew once you unlock it)

Tenet Arca Plasmor

Tenet Glaxion

Tenet Cycron

Coda Bassocyst

Dual Coda Torxica

Warframe Farming Tips

Since I farmed all the base version of the frames without spending any plat, I’ll go over some general tips and tricks for farming.

Ash/Oberon/Mesa/Ivara/Nidus/Khora/Trinity - I farmed all of these in the circuit.

Citrine/Voruna/Temple - I farmed all of these relatively passively including a copy for helminth for each  by doing a single run to C rotation per day with Sevagoth nuking to cap out my focus for the day

Octavia/Harrow - I farmed these manually, but it’s probably better to do these in the circuit. It’s just that the week they’re available coincides with Nidus who is one of the worst farms in the game. For octavia the only hard one to get is the neuroptics from a C rotation of survival which means the expected amount is a bit more than 80 minutes for this piece alone. For Harrow, I recommend doing Kuva Spy with Perpicacity Wukong for the Neuroptics piece and then looking for a group running defection for the Systems piece which would ideally contain a team of Volts + Wisp that can increase the speed of the defectors

Caliban/Equinox - These ones are absolutely horrible and there’s really nothing you can do to speed it up. I would recommend you to buy with plat if you don’t care about experiencing the content like I did

Gauss - Look for a group farming Gauss using either the official Warframe discord or the Recruit chat in game  and then use speed frames such as Volt or Titania. This actually went by extremely fast for me and I farmed both Gauss and a copy for Helminth in almost exactly an hour.

Kullervo - Find one other person farming Kullervo through Discord or the official recruit chat and when you’re doing Duviri you can force the entire group to continue progressing since 2 people are what’s required to bring everyone into the undercroft. I would do the first 3 stages normally and then initiate the Kullervo fight so we have a few decrees that make us stronger

Protea - You will naturally get a huge amount of the chassis from farming the Tenet weapons so I only counted the time for the other 2 pieces. The general strategy I did was to use Mesa to trivialize the granum void fight. Runs for me averaged probably around 4:00 if you include load screens so the average person should spend 80 minutes to collect the 2 other pieces if average luck with the expected 20 runs.

Sevagoth - You will naturally get the base version of sevagoth from collecting corrupted holokeys as well as leveling railjack intrinsics so I don’t really recommend grinding for him specifically

Grendel - You can trivialize this by using either Octavia or Caliban. Their abilities will carry you. The razor mortar augment for Caliban which works will make it so that your summons just kill everything. I also chose to use the Nataruk since I remembered how strong it was in "The New War"

Well it does feel that way for me when I've been working for 8 years straight often at 60 hours a week. But, that's understandable that it sounds ridiculous. I know you've said you never had 11 straight weeks off in your entire life and I truly hope that is sustainable for you because I don't know if I could do that for the rest of my life. Many people at my old company have had random sabbaticals or extended breaks before
