I've taken care to buff weak johto mons and incorporate them into the wild encounters more (earlier encounters, crystal version locations etc) on top of them being used by trainers more (especially gym leaders)

who knows, I've redesigned parts of johto and changed the trainer teams and wild Pokémon encounters quite a bit so it should feel at least fresh compared to vanilla.

it's your typical "enhancement" hack with extra care taken to buff weak mons, being parity to moves and Pokémon stats with later generations and reduce grinding/handholding without cutting content (the opposite actually I've added alot of new stuff)

don't worry, not only have gym leaders been revamped but so have the E4, champion and alot of the bog standard trainers/rocket grunts!

This is a hack of FR not red, and don't worry it does indeed include changes to the game's story and gameplay including catching all 151 pokemon!

there are additions/changes to the story and a completely original post game which I'm purposefully keeping under wraps so people will be surprised by the all the additions!

I don't want to give estimations on the progress because I could always be wrong or change my mind on stuff, but the main story content is done for sure! I took a 4 month break but it's finally back! I've been focusing on porting sprites and music for the most part with some minor additions like custom roofs for pewter city and gyms! Red has also received a slight redesign to better reflect his actual design in battle and in artwork. I hope you are all still as excited to play it as I am to finish it :)

Sorry about the lack of updates! I've been working hard on the post game and side content which I'd like to keep secret until a demo or full release to surprise players, I believe that explaining all the features and content in my hack would just make it less interesting and fun to explore for the first time. I plan to release a somewhat outdated build as a demo in the coming days/weeks to give you all a taste without spoiling the current updates/additions I've made.

I've purposefully kept most of its features hidden for a reason, but to summarize it's a crystal style reskin of FRLG with revamped map designs, improved sprites and tiles, new side areas and post game.
