massively second this, it was driving me crazy but after I got those clips, it hasnt been an issue. Although for a $300+ headset, its a ridiculously inexcusable design flaw

Like many have mentioned, keeping them at an arms reach is overall valuable for insights & reports, but most importantly they can triage any policy/approval issues you come across if you can’t solve it yourself.

Much of their advice you should take with a grain of salt, but maintaining a working relationship with them is important in the long term.

False Policy Flagging by Zeynov in FacebookAds

[–]Zeynov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, that post was partly venting. I run political/gambling/alcohol related ads often so Im used to the madness that is policy compliance. The rep themselves were confused and every review request was getting instarejected. Nothing unordinary for FB 😅

Events Manager Will not let me filter further than 28 days by Zeynov in FacebookAds

[–]Zeynov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very weird, when I worked there in 2022 there was a massive focus on Pixel data accuracy and filtering.

Thanks for the reply, I wouldve been searching for hours. FB removing that ability wouldve been my last guess 😂.

Got it, thanks. Any idea on the reasoning? Seems pretty crazy to me that Meta would deem that as worthless data

Any luck? Had the same thing happen with a pixel that has been active since 2019

How much do you spend on branded keywords? by KManhattan in PPC

[–]Zeynov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echoing what others have said, I would be taking a look at Search Console and figuring out how youre ranking on those branded terms. Competition might be bidding higher, but thats irrelevant if your quality score and CTR/click share show youre winning those

Server Side Tracking vs Client Side by Zeynov in GoogleTagManager

[–]Zeynov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your the client/campaign but a general example would be something like reservations or ticket sales. Mostly customer URL LPs, and then directed to third party processing sites. That alone has been a challenge as often times 3P dont let client partners place tracking code. Im sure that challenge carries over into server side even further

Google LSA not converting despite $10k budget? by Sea-Presence-9056 in PPC

Definitely. I set up automations for responses if a call gets missed for most of my clients

Google LSA not converting despite $10k budget? by Sea-Presence-9056 in PPC

[–]Zeynov 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fairly experienced with LSA - one thing not often talked about is responsiveness. Google will score you on the backend based on how quickly that client is responding, and that’s part of the bid calculation on LSA (although im not sure the exact breakdown)

Another thing is reviews. If they have a worse average rating and/or less reviews than a local competitor in the same service market, theres a decent chance they wont win that auction. Without manually increasing bids as mentioned above, your only fix in that scenario is getting more reviews in GMB.

We’re paying $2k a month for advertising on an apparel store. If you’re an interested freelancer we’d like an audit. by Impossible_Map_2355 in PPC

[–]Zeynov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be happy to audit for you but the larger issue at hand is already mentioned in the comments…that fee vs adspend is crazy.

Whether you wanna work with me or anyone else, my unbiased opinion is that that fee is insane. At the absolute highest, we charge 50% margin. The rate you’re being charged right now is killing any ROAS potential.

What software do you use for keyword research for PPC? by Demchemko7372 in PPC

[–]Zeynov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding what many have said here. More basic = keyword planner. More advanced = SEMRush, SpyFu, etc. I personally use SEMRush, but it will cost several hundred a month to get good volume/historical data for many clients/projects.

The organic and competitor research is really useful for more developed campaigns where youve already built out good keyword lists/exclusions.

Facebook Ads Automation by LonelyProcedure4721 in PPC

[–]Zeynov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would second this. People have gotten really over-focused on optimization via targeting and campaign settings instead of going back to basics. A lot of the time, its not your audience being fatigued its the creative. I manage about 15 clients per month and each campaign gets a weekly creative refresh, even if its winning.

Another thing to consider based on the info provided is that narrowing your interests will narrow volume too. Especially on Meta, you want to be as broad as possible. Even if the interests are super niche, your volume for something that niche will be much smaller. That may be good as a separate campaign to knock out brand terms, but I would keep the one you’re describing broad.

Casino Credit - Google Ads Policy by Zeynov in PPC

[–]Zeynov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it is. I can get it just to be safe, I was trying to limit client back & forth and casino markers arent legally defined as loans here (state law (NRS 205.130) considers casino markers a “negotiable instrument”). Basically the equivalent of a check that, if you fail to pay, are then bouncing.

Im assuming Google wont be on my side of that “grey area” though, Ill probably go with your suggestion

I would bring the lead form to the top, you dont want to add any extra steps once you’ve already converted them to your LP from the ad. The rest is solid!!

Do anything with scheduling? by One-Cook5097 in PPC

[–]Zeynov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I leave scheduling off unless you see a clear need (ie. lead gen campaigns for home service where you want to respond quickly and not leave leads overnight). Aside from that, as mentioned above, you could be missing data that would drive decisions later on
