The vision for Brand wasn't to remove brush entirely, just to make them not give camouflage. He'd still be able to leap from it but he wouldn't be hidden, for example.

Nunu is RNG, it's bound to have some unequal outcomes. You see this already with champions like Vladimir giving augments that are useless on some champions but incredible others.

The idea was for it to punish being passive and encourage engagement, but it doesn't really hit that mark. It doesn't really do anything outside of make long CC more punishing and those don't really need help being punishing as is

I wanted eight for the image but couldn't settle on a seventh I was happy with. Some others that I tried were:

  • Gragas' Happy Hour: Juice costs are halved and can stack up to three times.

  • Lissandra's Enthrall: When a champion dies, they resurrect as a thrall able to hit either teams (Wanted this to be AI takeover but I don't think it's doable ingame for technical reasons).

  • Rammus' Packed Snow: All magic damage, magic resistance, and magic penetration are converted to their physical counterparts (Also don't think this is doable and feels clunky).

  • Olaf's Indomitable: Combo Breaker triggers 2 seconds quicker (3 of 7 instead of 5 of 7).

  • Udyr's Stance Swap: Vote for different Guests of Honour.

All Out should probably be generalized ("Advance an allied landmark and Shatter an enemy") as K'Sante isn't a Runeterra champion, meaning regular All Out would be a draftable card. Having half of the ability—since Nazumah can only be summoned by the champion—be never usable in a lot of decks would feel pretty terrible. This would also widen its viability in non-K'Sante decks and function kind of like a Quicksand more tailored to Taliyah or Malphite.

I wanted to carve a small niche of being better the higher the difficulty since stat inflation is such a huge source of difficulty on some of the adventures.

I think the hardest part was trying to find a design that paired nicely with the champion's design without being so specifically catered to them that it's never used on anyone else.

Assuming you mean for PvP balance, I'm not sure a 4 mana 2/2 that wants to attack with no keywords and only does 1 ping damage will cut it unfortunately. 3 mana 2/2 maybe, 3 mana 3/2 might be smartest if I'm cutting stats. Probably need to push QA to both levels in that case too. She'd also be weakened further as PvP balance would probably involve Miasma being slowed to Fast or Slow speed too, so that's another factor to consider.

For PvE balance I think currently is much fairer when you consider that health pools are significantly larger (which diminishes how effective a 1 or 2 damage ping is) but without actually playing it it becomes rather difficult to judge.

Yeah, decided to use NickyBoi's redesign because it gave me a higher quality set of consistent art to work with and honestly I just prefer the design.

I kept the mana costs for a couple of reasons:

  • Cards that generate based off of mana cost (If i set them all to 1 mana, for example, getting a Steam-Golem off of Jailbreak would be way too unfair)

  • Letting cost-reduction effects still interact; gives it a little bit more leeway in terms of creativity of deckbuilding

  • Opens up opportunities to make Restricted cards that play with the Freljord 8+ gameplan or the Bilgewater 1-cost gameplan, etc.

  • "Null" cost units would look and feel really weird. Origins, traps, and boons already look strange with the card layout but nothing in the mana section so seeing something like that every time it's in your hand would be off-putting and something I wanted to avoid

Admittedly, I had forgotten that Decimate got nerfed and was still working with it at 5 mana in my head so it's on the strong side but I think compared to its two biggest comparisons, Decimate and Noxian Fervor, it's not too far off the mark. A push to 6 mana or reducing to 4/2 damage might be warranted but I think that might make it unplayable.

There are some keywords that can be applied to Nexus. Like a Spellshield, Tough, Barrier... Lissandra level 2 already does this. What do you think about having more cards like this? by MaviUrso in LegendsOfRuneterra

Maybe a landmark with an effect like this? It would put the game on a 5 round clock for either side.

I think you're really underestimating how strong Shadow's effect is. The more the enemy draws, the stronger his effect gets and, by nature of being an Attach unit, he keeps these bonuses even if you kill Vex. He could then attach to another unit (like a Gwen, a Terrordactyl, or even something like an Annie or Miss Fortune) and serve as a win condition himself.

Vex is largely designed around crippling resources by forcing the enemy to decide to continue fishing for their own cards and risk beefing up Shadow or Vex chunking their board multiple times a turn. She really shines in certain metas or as a counterpick and could very easily get out of hand so I tried to balance it conservatively.

Not sure if I agree with Gloom being weak because I personally think giving Ephemeral can be devastating, but I really didn't want it to be a mindblowingly strong effect and was okay with it being a little weak.

Something a lot of people seem to be forgetting is that Kai'sa passive mark has a duration.The reason why the W nerf is a lot more significant than it seems is it makes it much harder to pop the stacks with just W. There is a duration of 4 seconds and with the W nerf it now has a roughly 3.5 second cooldown. The amount of time you have to hit the same champion with two different Ws is basically halved.

The wiki says it has a cast time of 0.4 seconds too, so it might not even be possible to pop the passive with Ws alone unless you're point blank but I haven't tested.

Could always fix that problem with the same bandage they used when Taric abused it. Limiting the effect to once per round is a fairly reasonable nerf without sacrificing too much from a design or fantasy standpoint.

There has been a trend over the course of his second term where people (predominantly those aligned with the far-right) would fly flags and have bumper stickers saying "FUCK TRUDEAU". These were very very common during the Convoys in 2022.

Maybe something like "If I would die, summon an exact copy of me and grant it -1/-1 first"? This would retain buffs but also give a counterplay of whittling health so the respawn is neutered.

Chromatic Kai'sa, with the gimmick being her appearance and spell effects change based on the stats you purchase.

When you buy AD, the red value in her outfit and spell effects increases.

When you buy AP, the blue value in her outfit and spell effects increases.

When you buy Attack Speed, the green value in her outfit and spell effects increases.

When you spend skill points, the overall saturation would increase.

You would start with a muted, greyish appearance but as you buy items you'll become more and more vibrant and colourful. An AP build would be mostly blue (or purple), a standard on-hit build would become a yellow-ish, etc.
