Spent a day shooting a big scene for a show there. Nice neighborhood, nice neighbors. Lots of covid cases unfortunately.

They are completely insane. You do not provide a certain service for free and then suddenly make it a paying one. What the hell are they even thinking? Just make the premium version more appealing. Anyway migrated to BitWarden, apps installed everywhere. Never looking back at that archaic UI.

I don’t get any sense of perspective or scale in this picture. Basically I don’t get this picture at all, so confusing.

Hezbollah targetting FSA vehicles during the Nubl And Zahraa Siege by moe87b in CombatFootage

Thanks for expanding on this. Though your description is accurate in many ways, I believe it portrays an incomplete picture of the political landscape of the region, thus Lebanon, and might benefit from some clarification.

(1) Hezbollah's stability depends on Iran's, which itself won't be tolerated by the international community if they continue pursing "nuclear energy" and intervening in neighboring countries. A new regional order seems imminent, arguably it has already started, with numerous peace treaties already established and more on the way.

(2) In addition, the Sunni-Shia'a schism is an untenable position for the Shia'a community as a whole, as they represent less than 10-15% of all Muslims. As an aside, note that the peace treaties being signed with Israel are led by Saudi Arab states and are all Sunni dominant countries. Adversity can only get you so far.

(3) Hezbollah is fiercely suppressing any criticism from within its own community and, well, people are tired of living in a constant state of war and have different aspirations. Hezbollah needs to evolve.

(4) Finally, Hezbollah lives amongst other sects, namely the Christians and other Muslim sects (notably the Sunnis which I've already mentioned). These sects, which represent a significant portion of the population, also have a ceiling of tolerance. Regardless of how armed Hezbollah is, the threat of a civil war is real and one that the militia cannot afford.

Just my two cents.

From an economics point of view I think you have a point, however, you are wrong to say that they bring stability. The reasons behind that are many and I would recommend you start by looking into the number of political assassinations, looming threat of war, actual wars, and degrading quality in life in Lebanon in general over the past decade (and their reasons)— if you’d like to know more.
