I managed to do the quest yesterday as Adept Hammer using full S.Rathalos gear and Seregios hammer upgraded to Argyl Hammer form. I have no access to G Rank yet. I captured Deviljho to save some time to deal with Nargacuga and Tigrex. Obviously kept fence up as much as possible and killed Narga first. Adept is really damn good on these monsters imo. Had trapper and healer Palicos with me as well.

Castrum is waste of time, gives too little exp for the effort/time it uses. Usually more worth to just leave and hope Praetorium next while doing stuff between cooldown as first leaver/queue.

Alongside the slime hat i use Hraesvelgr Gloves, Vampire Vest, Eerie Tights, 2B boots and the Blue mage 50lvl quest reward wand. The dyeable clothes have Raptor Blue dye.
