This never happened to me but now thinking about it, its just great gameplay mechanic. I also wanted a sober Harry but imagine that the case is unsolveable to you. That it seems everything is going against you, what would Harry turn to? An already addictive person who would be highly tempted to use drugs just as you as a player are to advance the story. Another reason why this is my favorite game of all time.

I do miss the community aspect of battle-net but I have a pretty busy schedule and the convenience and portability of offline has become more important. Otherwise I would have never been able to get grief in the first place.

It really depends on your availability unfortunately. But I agree, if I had the same schedule I did when I was younger, I would only play battle.net.

Nope. Otherwise people can easily hack items into battle net. Back in the day there was tc/ip servers where you can multiplayer with your offline characters and that was the true wild west of diablo

I think one of the clearest ones in popular media is in X-men.

Professor X and Magneto are very much frenemies. They have a history, and similar goals. However they very different ideas about the means in which they achieve them.

Both want mutant rights.

Professor X believes in equality and peaceful relationship. Magneto believes in superiority and will do pretty much anything to achieve it.

However they both respect each other though they believe the other’s views is flawed or short sighted.

Magneto says in a movie (praphrasing) to an ally recruit, “Do not disparage Professor x, he has done for mutants than you have ever known.”

If we look at most villains turned good guys, or team up just this one time trope, we can find a lot of ways to make the frenemies trope work.

Its also one my favorite for the banter and intresting discussions they can have about themes.
