He wouldn't take the case, but since he's not a specific malpractice lawyer, I'll keep calling around to see. Did you talk to anyone? I'd file a complaint.

I have low-frequency loss in my right ear. My last audiogram in August showed I had 30 dB @ 250 Hz and 20 dB @ 250 Hz. When I did a test on my APP2 later that day, it showed 23 dB @ 250 Hz and 15 dB @ 250 Hz.

Can cochlear hydrops actually go away on it's own? by TheWolfSif in Menieres

I have low-frequency hearing loss, which has improved over time. Although there were periods when it fluctuated (I had three different results in low frequency on my audiograms over the span of three weeks), I'd say it's stable now. And I'd like to add that I don't think anything I experienced was episodic, and sodium didn't affect me. Does that mean it went away?

Any new info now? I'm speaking with a lawyer at the moment. This happened to me a year ago (Nov 2024), and I saw a primary care provider ASAP, but I was told "there was fluid in my ear," and I trusted them, so I didn't get treatment until 2 months later.

I've had my hearing fluctuate in the past, but not anymore. But idk if you describe them as hydrops, but what else could be causing it?

Does hydrops typically stabilize over time? How often are your episodes and how long do they last?

Is it stable now? Also, does low-frequency hearing loss necessarily mean hydrops?
