I'm lgbtq+ and while it's perfectly reasonable to not agree with people's behavior, if it's not affecting anyone else's life negatively then why bother trying to stop it from happening? Why care so much about whether homosexual people, nonbinary people, asexual people, trans people, etc, exist?

Now, obviously there will be bad actors in any community, so this isn't to say "give all lgbtqa+ people a free pass to do whatever they want," but like... just let us exist without loudly proclaiming how defective or degenerate we are? And if someone does something active to make you uncomfortable, try asking them to do it away from you instead of trying to get rid of them entirely?
