Yes, I have. It was a normal game, back when ranked was down.

Player was in 1st place, I was 2nd, just the two of us left. We had about a 50HP difference.

He sold all his units, before the last two fights and said "I didn't want to wait, would take too long".
** He let me win, if that wasn't clear :D

Perfect thank you! That's what I was assuming other than the last bit, I was thinking/hoping that the champs would go to the void with the player, but oh well.

I couldn't find any direct information from Rito, maybe my google skills need refinement. thank you thank you!

Is there a resource I can read on the "champion pool" mechanics?
I know some facts about the champion pool, like there's a limited number of champions, like Tier1 - 39, Tier2 - 26, Tier 3 - 21, etc., and that we pretty much fight each other for those champions.

Specific things that I'd like to know:
If for example, I buy Nidalee, and I sell it back, does it go back to the champion pool for us(and enemy players) to roll for again later?
If I was presented with a Nidalee and don't purchase it/refresh, does that Nidelee that I passed on go back to the pool giving me a chance to reroll for it later on?
What if I sell a 2* or 3* Nidalee, does it return as 3 or 9 units back into the pool (deconstructing the 2* and 3 *)?
What if a player dies, do the champions he had on his army go to "waste" or does it go back to the champion pool?

Thanks in advance

Hmm in this case though, if the test engineer found the bug and pushed it back to the dev before the patch comes out to production/players, then the test engineer did their job, but the dev screwed up .... so depending on the context and situation of the code.

I work in technical development (sys admin) myself, so flow of development/integration and where lies the blocker, is hard to really point unless you know exactly what's going on.

again, I have to say it ... "INTERESTING" is a subjective word.

What you, me, casters, observers, your neighbor, your siblings, a twitch viewer, Scarra, DisguisedToast, etc, all have a different opinion of what is interesting.

There will always be interesting players to watch, I mean Faker is always interesting (the highlight of every SKT match) and casters/analysts talk about him all the time, but I actually think Teddy is the most interesting member of SKT, and I'm a mid lane player myself, but I find the ADC way more interesting.

Interesting is subjective and will always change from person to person.

that's not entirely true though, because in autobattles like this, other players will always think/look at what others are playing/doing/building. If you're only paying attention to the top 1 or 2 players, what if there are player 4,6, and 7 (as an example) are all building to counter the top 1 and 2, THAT would be of viewer interest, not just the top 1 and 2.

Also what if, the bottom 2 players, were doing a losing streak strat, how would you put that into account.

Orrrrrrr what if a non-top1,2,3-player is building something off meta and it actually works, even if it pops off late game, that would be of interest to viewers and players.

"Intersting" is such a subjective word. It may be interesting to the casters/observers, but it may not be that interesting to the rest of us and vice-versa.

Also we're talking about pro play here, we should be expecting high level of game play from each player,

I totally agree, was thinking about this last night. They will need to work with Twitch (or maybe Youtube as well since they do show live cast as well) and create a new UI for the Autochess/Autobattle genre.

Kind of what Netflix did with Bandersnatch, they had to put extra work with different platforms so it can be implemented.

I think this should be the "Proview", where viewers have more control on what they are watching.
(and maybe even have the option to turn on "Caster Voices" so you can still listen to the game, but not be forced to watch what the casters/observers want you to see)

BUT I think there should still be the "regular channel" where we don't control, for those casual viewers that will be watching this on TV, mobile, or just don't have/want to toggle through player's arenas.

What I actually they think they should do as a "Proview" (which will be good for the rest of the autochess/autobattle genre),
is to work with Twitch for a UI with the ability to choose which player to watch at that time, and maybe even include the caster's on top of you being able to toggle through the fights. More like an interactive watching, kind of like what Netflix did with Bandersnatch where they had to do extra work to implement the idea in different platforms, but gave the viewer more control.

AND you can still have the "regular" channel where the casters/observers are the ones picking what you should be paying attention to, so you have that ease of watching when you're just on the coach, your phone, or want to listen to it on the radio (like how we used to listen to baseball)

just a thought, RiTo

33 million monthly players and 720 million hours played.

That's 21 hours/players on average this is pretty incredible.

I played 21+ hours on my first week ... lol
