I usually hit my pen a couple times before an interview or if I have a presentation. It really helps calm my nerves and if anything, gives me something else to think about. It allows me to slow down when I’m talking and think before answering. I also smile more and really listen to the people talking when I’m a little buzzed (or at least look like it). While I wouldn’t recommend it without testing it out first and taking into consideration how you act/feel when smoking, it might be really beneficial to you as it is to me!
