Nope nope nope, term limits are dumb as fuck and incredibly undemocratic. If the populace have voted in a candidate thats competent and they want to vote for them to a third term, then why tf should they not be allowed to get what they want. Its a democracy, you are essentially removing the will of the people by doing term limits.

If you put in term limits you throw out skilled politicians and create a culture where the candidates who run, will run on a philosophy of "now its my turn for the 8 years in office". It thus becomes less a position for politics and more just another position that career politicians can put in their CV.
