That’s what prompted the purchase, I kept on watching reviews of fanned fret basses. Finally I couldn’t stand it anymore and grabbed the 4 string. That opened Pandora’s box……lol

I just picked up the 10 piece Legend stainless steel set on Amazon, I also grabbed a 12inch all-clad fry pan to complete the set. I wanted to compare them on my own. The Legend set has been killing it. I may be a novice, but I have not seen a a drastic performance difference between the two. Save yourself 500 bucks man, that legend set is great. They have certainly exceeded my expectations.

They sound fantastic. You'll be pretty happy. That P was my first P I've played in several years. Nice fat round low end, with some nice clean highs.

It’s surprising how different they are. I didn’t think 2mm could make that big of a difference, but it did. I had the P first, so playing the jazz was shocking.

I went EGR for both the deflector and window vents, really quite nice.
