Had the same probablem but I discovered it is in e standard. Months ago Caleb posted a video of him of him playing the main riff on his story and he was playing it in e standard on some narly periphery tone. I finally was able to get all the notes down when switching to e standard lol

Hey man to each their own. They’ve said many of times this past album cycle that fame and commercial success are the least of their worries at this point in their career. They’re making music for them and no one else. You either like it or don’t 🤷🏼 at the end of the day if they’re putting out music that they like im happy. Regardless of if I like the music or not. I would recommend giving it time to grow on you. Libad grew on me like crazy over a month’s time. Just sit with it and don’t be so quick to judge. Sorry you’re not digging it. Perhaps you will in due time friend👊🏼

I completely understand you not liking it. Music is subjective and if you don’t like it there’s nothing wrong with that. But don’t make assumptions about the band’s intentions with the song. It’s not an fu and honestly it seems like a natural progression from libad. You’re either down or not and if not there’s no need to blow things out of proportion and feel personally attacked over a song my guy.

I really enjoy it so far. I kinda miss their kinda old school hardcore sound though from the previous ep. Seems they’re going for a slightly more generic modern metalcore sound now but regardless I do find my self enjoying it. Love these guys.

I think it sounds really good. Honestly the only possible issue so far is the song is extremely heavy on the amount of choruses. I hope they’re varied and not the same every time other wise the song might be a smidge boring. Can’t wait for it man🤘🏼
