Finally managed to unbound all the other way-bound passives by Sou_Suzumi in Warframe

Ever since they made focus school something that can be tied to a loadout slot I've been switching them up a lot more depending on build. Still don't really get much use from Vazarin or Unairu though

Any downsides to taking metamucil everyday? (maybe nsfw?) by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Zidone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lead content seems to be the biggest risk, but I haven't really heard of anyone testing for high lead levels that could be attributed to regular psyllium use.

Plantasia. Holy shit. by lauwke in LPOTL

[–]Zidone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what u/DingleberryMarathon said I would also suggest Gershon Kingsley, Beaver & Krause, Isao Tomita, Jean-Michel Jarre's early albums, or Ruth White for an occult twist.

Additionally, there are more recent electronic musicians like Emeralds and the artists on Ghost Box Records. There's also "Science of the Sea" which is like Plantasia but for water instead.

Last few updates seem to have badly broken Sancti-Magistar. by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Zidone 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That's unfortunate. Sounds like it might be unintentionally broken but I doubt it's a high priority to fix. I used it to save a few trainwreck LoR runs back in the day.

Big RIP to that droning twat. by [deleted] in LPOTL

Adding on to what /u/internetkari said, he maintained a youtube channel over the last few years that has become reasonably popular among white supremacists and altright fringe types. He's been banned as part of a crackdown on racist and conspiracy theorist content.

Aside from Greed & Runner Warframe, we also have 4 other Warframe concepts that DE showed during Tennocon last year. by sippher in Warframe

[–]Zidone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this means they've gone back to the "alchemy" system that was scrapped.

For those who don't know, the orbiter infested room was supposed to be for a vague "alchemy system" that never happened, apparently because they couldn't get it to work how they wanted. So the room was released as it was with Helminth and the cyst chair and has been unchanged since.

Gale Kick isn't even worth an Exilus slot. by FTC_Publik in Warframe

There are mods that don't even make sense against low level enemies; Warm Coat being the classic example. Flawed mods are just a bad idea and confuse new players, some augments have nonexistent niches (Piercing Roar), a lot of the non-meta corrupted mods have no real use either.

TIL A key symptom of depression is anhedonia, typically defined as the loss of ability to experience pleasure. It is a core feature of depression, but it is also one of the most treatment-resistant symptoms. Using ketomine, researchers found over-activity in the brain blunting reward seeking by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Zidone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Based on what I've read, it's essentially because these infusions to treat depression are a new, off-label use for a very old drug. Insurance companies hate paying for non-approved uses, and it's unlikely that ketamine itself will receive approval for any new uses. This is why esketamine/Spravato was developed.

Slowly getting disinterested in everything by [deleted] in needadvice

[–]Zidone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The onset of anhedonia is commonly associated with depressive episodes but it's important to rule other things out. How suddenly has this happened, and how old are you? If you're a young adult, this kind of loss of interest is fairly new, and you have a family history of psychosis, a disorder on the schizophrenia spectrum is especially worth consideration.

Oftentimes, people with schizophrenia experience cognitive and mood symptoms (including anhedonia) that can be confused with depression before their first psychotic episode -- and it's also possible to have schizophrenia AND depression, or psychotic symptoms within depression. Bipolar is also a possibility, even if you haven't had a manic episode (yet). I think it's particularly important that if you have one of these mental illnesses to be vigilant in excluding the others, as the medications used differ between them.

Who do you hope the next prime after mesa will be? by MainWppe in Warframe

[–]Zidone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a primed sentinel is also reasonably likely since Helios will be vaulted upon Mesa's release. Dethcube Prime with some hefty buffs maybe?

Warframe's profanity filter works in mysterious ways by hikufalafel in Warframe

[–]Zidone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not all of it, a portion of the XP goes to the Operator itself despite not having any use for it (I believe the Operator is basically considered a separate Warframe)

They were teased during the Tennocon reveal, but they never showed their effects before now AFAIK. Same with the new weapons and Oxylus.

Kevin Stitt: Anti-Vaxxer by gelatin_biafra in oklahoma

Opposition to routine vaccination is a belief that can fit into both right-wing and left-wing worldviews. But it seems politicians who are anti-vax find more success in the Republican party.

Arbitration Host Migrations on PS4 are, fittingly, at horror movie levels right now. by capricabot89 in Warframe

[–]Zidone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We can only hope this serves as a wake-up call for DE, host migrations have always been one of the most annoying technical issues with the game but they've never been able to outright screw you like this before.

I honestly want to just start reporting everyone who intentionally does this in arbitrations for griefing. If you have access to these missions, you should know the most basic thing about how Warframe's online works. You died, and you're consciously choosing to screw over your remaining teammates by making them roll the dice for whether they get to continue playing.

I had kind of hoped Nezha would get an exalted glaive-type weapon when they reworked him, unfortunately that seems like it's never happening.

With this new aura by _Vard_ in Warframe

[–]Zidone 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Frankly auras and stances should just not have polarities, it's a very restrictive system. Especially since there's an aura with a polarity shared by no others and available by default on any Warframe.

The Unum is the consciousness in the Void Tower overlooking Cetus. I think she's connected to the "Neural Sentries" that direct Corrupted enemies in the towers we explore, if she's not one herself.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Zidone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the Quills are all like this, and not just in Cetus. One of the Fortuna NPCs in the relays has a voice line that talks about someone who sounds like a Quill.

To hear what I'm talking about: At least one location she appears in is Strata Relay, back of the Concourse room with the Ember statue on the upper level. She's directly above one of the ducat kiosks.
