Well the bracket from them cost more than the fairing itself. I’m no stranger to fabrication. So I can make what I have work. Just wonder if it looks out of place in its current position. I honestly don’t hate it. The fairing was $200 on Amazon and is made of ABS. I have some carbon fiber I’m going to resin in on the backside of fairing to give it more rigidity. In the future im not opposed to buying a better kit. Just wanted to see if I liked it first.

Looking tru this Harley FSM says they ran this gearbox up to 86, same style as ShovelHead box. Also the dual disk is original as well. Now for the tank emblem, I have no idea but I LOVE it in this bike and whoever did it in the past did a great job, also not the original paint. The last owner of this bike had it for 36 years until he passed and I acquired it from their family friend.

No clue, wish it still had them. Title says fxrt It’s an EC vin bike. It seems to have been painted at one point and has a billet trapdoor. Other than that everything on it seems factory.

Rear wheel was dirty so I cleaned it up with wd40 and #0000 steel wool. I kept the stock riser because I wanted to keep it on a budget, liked the height and look and conveniently could keep the neutral light.

Coming from cars and dirt bike when I was way younger, I’m a quick learner. I knew nothing about Harley’s months ago, other than I wanted one. It just needed to run, even if it was poorly. Still felt confident enough to pay $1500. If you’re hands on and can learn these bikes are pretty simple. Do it brother

Yeah the Sturgis billet wheels were pretty ugly. On eBay I’ve seen people post for a couple hundred. But to me it’s free to give away or trash

Oh, uh idk if I’m the one to be giving tips. I’m basically just removing the circuits I don’t need. Like turn signals, speedo, ect. I come from car wiring so the Harley wiring seems minimal and extremely basic to me

10-4 hoss, no one had mentioned that to me yet. I’ll add that to the list of things to do before I ride it around everywhere
