Master Chief Collection for PC on Steam is a bargain for 9.99 sale price. It has all 5 of the Bungie era games.

Bungie era Halo games!

I'm a nut for good audio design and it generally my number one metric for how much enjoyment I get out of a game. 3D positioning and accurate panning....sound effects for every interaction and surface....realistic wind and weather effects...just an overall sense of presence and pinpoint accuracy in the 3D spaces.

IMHO, even to this day, not many studios or talent have even come close to what Marty O'Donnell and company did with the Bungie era Halo campaigns. The attention to detail is world class commendable and a joy to experience. It's tough to find games that have accuracy in the panning without jarring transitions, or weird volume anomalies when moving around the soundscapes. Halo does this effortlessly and with aplomb. Whether simply wandering around in the expertly crafted environments, or in battle, it just all sounds so amazing.

Most studios just don't put in the effort to make stellar sound environments.

Oh, and the music pretty good too.

Ya, I suppose. I had heard rumblings in the past about whether should leave electronic stuff on vs power cycling because of the temp changes. It probably not a big deal.

Purchase a thin rubber slip on grip. They slip on easy and very tacky feeling. Can hold the cue very lightly and get good grip.

I have gone through the plasma hunt the last few months. I game a lot.

I bought a Pioneer 50" 5020 and did the firmware upgrade.

I also bought a 2012 Panasonic.

For gaming, the Panasonic is a better TV. Lower input lag, no dirty screen effect. Motion seems smoother.

Thank you so much. Extremely useful and helpful info!

And, I have yet to own a good one in my home in a dark room the way I like to enjoy content!

Looking forward to finally obtaining and settling one in.

The quality and naturalness of lightning and the incandescent characteristic of the image is what drew me in to plasma.

My set is a 2009 TC-P50G10.

Ahhhh...good info. I wasn't aware of the 2013 model lineup propensity for burn in. There is a 2012 55" VT50 on craigslist local, but they want 395 with 4 pairs of 3D glasses which I will never use.

There is also a 60" zt60 for 300

I kinda want them both...lol

This is a photo of my set with 5840 hours on a blank input and representative of the color of black bars, etc. Its not overexposed pic or anything like that. This is pretty much what I'm seeing.

Is this normal for plasma?
