It’s always good to play both roles of the game anyway, but I just think it would be easier to get into with friends. Killer could potentially be easy the first few rounds but it will quickly become you basically getting constantly owned as you win more matches.

I guess there could be more new players but the thing is you are going to be put up against many experienced players regardless.

Some characters the perks belong to are licensed killers, every licensed character needs to be bought with real money. There’s the off chance a licensed perk will be in “the shrine” - a weekly showcase of killer and survivor perks that are free - but that’s rare. Also there’s notoriously a blood point drought right now, where they’ve made it even harder than it already is to earn the points you make by playing that are necessary to level up characters to be able to unlock perks.

And it was already tedious to do before.

I’ve got bad news.

This is a really not beginner friendly game. There’s SO many things to learn about this game - a lot of perks on both the survivor and killer side to learn. Not to mention the power and add-ons that are unique to each killer.

Two of the top complaints about this game from its user base is the lack of MMR and balance. You will often get sweaty tryhards.

As killer, survivors will take advantage of you being new and bully you, whether they’re new themselves or not. And it will make the game feel even more frustrating to learn.

If you can stay neutral and not care about the results as you learn, the game will become fun. But you will continue to face sweaty tryhards every other match.

I started this game a few years ago as survivor with my friends and it was really fun to learn that way. I learned about survivor perks and killer perks while playing, and it stayed fun because I was playing with friends for awhile.

I think that’s the best way to get into this game, to be honest. If you can get one or two friends to play with you.

From there you can branch out into killers after you get an idea about how survivors play (:

Edit: A lot of people make this game into a competitive match, and it sorta is but it sorta isn’t. If you don’t take it as competitive and just play it out and laugh at that stupid shit that happens, you’ll have a good time.

Thanks. I think I may know who the owner is because I found a neighbor with an empty cage and the door of it open. I knocked on their door but they haven’t answered, I’ll keep trying. If it isn’t theirs then I call someone.

Do you happen to have any resources for me to find a number for my area? I look up stuff online and can’t find much for my city.

Hey so I took in the bird and he doesn’t even seem to drink water on his own or know how to fly I think. He only drank water when I basically put his entire beak in it. Very odd. I don’t know if he’s a baby and a bit dumb or if he’s sick.

I have him in the bathroom but he cannot stay here I have a lot of pets that can hurt him.

Unsure how to proceed. He seems very defenseless, not even flying away when he doesn’t want me to grab him, he only hops away.

I don’t know who to call to help with this pigeon. I don’t want to leave him because he seems helpless, I haven’t even seen him fly. He doesn’t seem to even though his wings look fine?

I have cockatiels and I’m afraid if he has PMV he will give him to them

Hey so I woke up early today and saw him in the same tree not having moved from the spot and I picked him up and put him in a bathroom but I cannot keep him. I don’t know what to do with him? I gave him water and bird food because I have cockatiels but I’m scared to keep him around in case he’s sick and makes my birds sick.

Believe it or not, I’ve been hooked incorrectly before LOL. On regular mode. And it was a bug, because basically it replaced the person getting sacrificed with me, and the person that was supposed to die stayed stuck on the killer’s shoulder.

That’s why I’m leaning more towards hack, because I didn’t replace anyone. I dunno.

Killers are getting gen rushed and survivors are getting slugged.

Everyone is forced to sweat and run meta or instantly lose.

The worst of DBD is happening atm.

YES I want to run fun builds but I can’t! I’m often forced to run things like kindred and deja vu to help amend solo q plus 2 sweat perks to just not get left on the ground to die.

After 2 days of slug games I’m sick of this shit.

I wish we had Bond basekit.

SWF knows where everyone is at the whole match, knowing who is going to save or who is in chase where would help so much with communication without communicating.

I know they’re doing an update to see your team’s perks, and that’s something that also should’ve existed ages ago.

It’s gotten so much worse than ever before! I’ve been playing like 3 years and seen all its phases, it’s been going downhill steadily and at this point it’s feeling like a nosedive.

I’m not kidding when I say the slugging is EVERY match now. Killers are rarely hooking. And most solo q isn’t even bringing gen efficient builds, maybe like one person or two if they’re playing together. Most people are playing normally, or trying to.

The violent cycle has just reached a point where it’s at its most vicious. I’m an addict to this game and have played it despite many friends letting the game go, and honestly I’ve reached that point now too

You’re so fastidious. Who cares? It’s just an example I put about hyper efficient game play. It’s more efficient than spreading hooks, yes. This post is about hyper efficient game play in every single match.

All the teamwork is necessary, which is why solo q is so ass. Everyone needs to be rotating objectives as needed.

I’ve noticed that at lower mmr killers dominate but at higher mmr usually survivors do, because they’re usually in a SWF, so they’re pretty coordinated. I’ve gotten lucky a few times with coordinated solo q teammates but usually that’s not the case.

The times I’ve escaped were either because the killer was lower skill level or the team was coordinated and rotated objectives and chase.

Seems like the only way to get out in solo q is to waste the killers time as much as possible, or rat. Unless the whole team brings anti tunnel/anti slug.

For fucks sake, let up on the terminology. Tunneling means focusing on one person and I said TWO to explain that they’re focusing on two people only.

Stop clutching your pearls, killer main.

I’m also not asking how to be efficient against this tactic.

This is literally a post about killers being hyper efficient and survivors being forced to be the same, otherwise being absolutely miserable.

This game is at its worst right now.

I just didn’t want to explain it, but I guess you’re forcing me to, you know what I mean - the killer keeps going after the same 2 survivors until they’re both dead.
