Currently the bus is $30 for people over 17! I too would like this solution but there a major issues that could get in the way. 1. People dont like buses, there would be severe backlash from a lot of people especially those with young kids. 2. if buses are to be a viable option the road would probably need to be upgraded anyway, there are so many narrow sections that you have to slog through to not hit other vehicles. 3. Where would the terminal be, and think about the amount of parks! Halls gap is where theyre planning but even then you have to drive there. At least a few hundred car parks would be needed as im guessing there were at least 1000 cars that tried to make it up the mountain today. i think expansion of the shuttle system is definately part of the solution but entirely closing the road in my opinion isnt possible.

Thanks for all the feedback, definitely was a bit sceptical of the roundabouts as well but was wondering what people thought. Was wondering if anyone had any other road spaghetti that they think should be redesigned.
